Quiet room except...

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Traveling with our 2 small dogs, so it was nice to have a first floor room next to door. Room was large and clean.Carpet could have been cleaner. Bed was comfortable. We didn't hear any noise from the outside but every time the people upstairs ran water, we could hear it running down through the pipes next to our room. $10.00 charge for pets was reasonable.

Great hotel

Posted Jan 9, 2015 on Hotels.com
I think this hotel serves it's purpose. It is in a great location and the hotel staff is friendly. Our room is always clean and the hotel itself is clean. We stay here all the time when passing through. The hotel is great and we've never had any problems.

Excellent hotel for a cost-effective overnight

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Stayed here en-route Oklahoma to Colorado. Room was spotless, bed comfortable, staff exceptionally friendly. Good TV and channels. Friendly diner next door. Breakfast included, coffee and some donuts always available. WiFi works. Pet friendly. We have stayed many places across the world and these guys were very hospitable compared to most. Hot buffet breakfast included at an overnight rate of $49 plus tax!

The Problems Are Fixable

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: The bed was quite decent.
Cons: Management.
First impression could be better (hoodie might not be best attire for front desk staff). Young man was polite but indicated frustration with the computer system, as it was indicating empty rooms when in actuality, they were occupied. Sure enough, my first key-in was to a dirty and apparently very occupied room. Second try found a room in good condition, but the plunger by the toilet was a little....uh....off-putting? Then when I back down stairs (no elevator apparently) to get my luggage, my card wouldn't open the door. The breakfast was semi-maintained and it appeared some of the staff were eating there as well. No one was around to offer any help.

Quick stop while on the road was okay. Nothing special, but nothing bad.

Worth it!

Posted Jan 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
They'd had a water leak or something from the ceiling and were cleaning it up, but the rooms were clean and quiet and the service was great! The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our overnight there!

OK but not ideal

Posted Dec 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
We made a reservation on Hotels.com. The receptionist had never mind heard of this site before. She double charged me. I spent about 45 minutes trying to check in and get the duplicate charges reversed. She was polite though not well trained for her position. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable though the bed sank a bit in the middle. Breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast - eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, some fresh fruit, doughnuts, toast, cereal, oatmeal packets, juice, and coffee. I would probably look for another hotel if I am ever needing to stay in Guymon again; however, it would be ok to stay here again.

Staff was rude and hotel was ran down

They charged us after we had already paid for our room through hotels.com and the heater in our room didn't work.
