"Only stayed one night coming back from our stay in Kruger but as soon as we got there we realised we should have booked for two. There are loads of things to do in the area that we were interested in and on site there were walks we could have taken surrounded by nature. The location is beautiful and even just outside the bedroom you see deer and a warthog or two. Marlon was a great host and very knowledgeable and the room was luxurious as was the bathroom that also had a choice of inside and outside shower. Great night’s sleep in a super comfy bed. Would come back."

"I cannot begin to express how wonderful the lodge, the staff and my stay here was. Unembeza is fantastic! It is located in an estate with other private properties. You will need to receive a code from the hotel to enter the estate and drive/ride, slowly for approximately 2 miles to get to the lodge. Along the way you will pass warthogs, kudu and impala…one guest told me he saw giraffes also. Frank greeted me and registered me at checkin. He showed me around the lodge and took me to my AMAZING room in the Monkeythorn building. My room was stunning. I had an incredible massage, given by Maria. I would highly recommend her. At breakfast, Vote, served me with incredible warmth, conversation and a smile. I wish I could remember all the names but everyone was amazing. It is unusual to find a place of this caliber anywhere in the world like this. It is a ways from Kruger National Park, so allow an hour or ninety minutes to get to the gate. hope to return someday."

Beaucoup d'animaux viennent sur le terrain. C'est un vrai oasis dans la savane africaine, expérience unique, très recommandé!"

"Just needed a place to stay the evening before departure. Ended up being much nicer than expected in a gated community. Evans took us to dinner and picked us up at The Hat and Creek (also highly recommend) and to the airport the next morning after serving us a delicious full breakfast. Propetier Josef was very nice as well."
