“Great breakfast with nice dining atmosphere”

Great value and very nice people in this part of the country.

“A good value for the price”

This is an older structure and that is easily apparent. When you drive up, you may be skeptical. However, inside it is clean, attractive, and a very good value for the price. The staff was very gracious and the beds comfortable. What more can you ask for a room that you will probably only use to sleep as you pass through the town or visit the local attractions.

“Hagerstown's Unknown Gem”

At first glance, Hagerstown Hotel and Conference Center looks a bit deserted but I think its a gem that many are not aware of. The Lobby is modern, the staff is friendly and you get bang for your buck when you stay there. The rooms are large- the television a bit outdated but still worth the price. Most of all breakfast was amazing. I'd definitely return. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

“Great access off of I-70”

Husband is slightly handicapped in walking, gave us a room close to an exit door. Could have used more soap in the bathroom. Had a wonderful complenmentary full breakfast. One of the best Ham & cheese omelets I've had in a long time. Staff very friendly.

“Excellent.”

Clean, well-kept, quiet. A full breakfast was included, which was a pleasant surprise, and both the food & staff were excellent.

“Nice employees but.......”

We were in town for a funeral. We found the room comfortable but things like candy wrappers on the night stand and closet floor were off-putting. We did mention that I had an allergy to smoke and this was accomodated very nicely, and we were on a very quiet hallway. The bedding was clean and comfortable but the carpet was stained and there was no phone book in the room. While I wouldn't refuse to go back, I would hope for a little more attention to detail by the housekeeping staff.

“Clean, well maintained and friendly”

Yes, the bathroom was small, but nicely renovated with granite counter. Beds were very comfortable.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This was also true of many of the people I met in the area. Full breakfast from the restaurant menu was an unexpected bonus. It's clean, well maintained and friendly at a very reasonable rate. I'll go back again.

“Great staff and breakfast included”

We stayed here one night over the Memorial Day weekend. The room was roomy and clean, with a king bed and nice lounging pillows. The staff at checkin and checkout, and in the bar and restaurant were very capable, friendly and helpful. Although of no concern to us, for those who find it important there were no premium TV channels such as HBO, etc. and the television itself was somewhat dated The location is on the outskirts of Hagerstown, along Rt. 40 and very convenient to I-70. However, there are no other restaurants or shops in easy walking distance to the hotel. There is a clean and convenient pool area, however we did not get the chance to actually use the pool itself. A full breakfast in the restaurant is included with the room, not just a 'continental' breakfast. Since we stayed a Saturday night, the breakfast next morning was a breakfast buffet. Our only complaint was that dinner prices in the restaurant seemed high for the area, although they do have a lower-price 'finger-food' buffet on Saturday nights. After looking at the menu, we chose to eat dinner elsewhere on Saturday night. Drink prices at the bar seemed inline with what one would expect at a hotel bar. We would definitely stay here again.

“Good Solid Hotel”

Hotel was great for the price. The free breakfast was okay, not the best but again for the price it was good. The service was very good and I would definitely stay again.

“Half way stop”

Stayed one night at this hotel at the beginning and end of a trip to SC. It's about half way to Charlotte. It's an older place; carpet is beat; bathroom old but the bed was clean and comfy and the room was quiet. No hallway noise or disruptions so we got a good night's sleep. Breakfast is order off the menu full service. My husband said his eggs (over easy) were perfect...good value and much nicer than the "toast your own bagel" breakfasts that the chains offer. We'd stay there again.
