Horrible hotel, not close to much.Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Nothing, the soda machine didn't work properly and when you looked for help there was none around. It is run by two brothers and no one else.
Location: nothing to do near by
The room was above the laundry room where you could here the appliance running all the time. When I asked for more towels the next day they had none available. Never seen any other customers except the one's we travel with, yet they had no towels, the coffee was bad, and so call brother staff were rude. I believe my room was switch because I reserve the room weeks ahead of time and received the worse room in the place when another person reserve a room the day we were arriving and they got the better room. Really how does that work.

It was just not cleanPosted Sep 13, 2014 on Hotels
I was in a non-smoking room and the bedspread had a cigarette burn on it. You could hear people yelling all over all night long. I just stopped here for a quick few hours of sleep in between driving and didn't even get that. The staff was unfriendly, and the toilet paper was not even on a toilet paper holder it was set on the back of the toilet.

Convenient location. Disappointing atmosphere.Posted Aug 31, 2014
Cons: Needs better management to return the motel to previous condition.
Hallways, reception area were not clean. Outside of building had trash in corners Room was relatively clean, but showed considerable deterioration from a past update - broken light fixture in bathroom, single bed blanket on a king-size bed, lumpy pillows.

pass this one and keep going!Posted May 14, 2014 on Hotels
There were beer cans and trash on the grass by the entrance (no direct out doors; had to go through 2 doors to get to the room, both of which opened outward and were awkward when trying to maneuver the dogs); the light over the sink and one of the lamps didn't work; the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and had no bar to hold the paper; the microwave did not heat; no hair dryer as promised; no coffee maker in room; the carpet was badly stained; no code given for the wifi and could not find the manager; and the remote could only change channels, nothing else. The free breakfast in the office consisted of coffee and a box of stale doughnuts, and the office didn't even open up until one of the residents buzzed and made the owner/manager come out. The guy across the hall could not get in his room because his card would not work and he couldn't get anyone at the office to answer when he knocked. The only good thing I can say about the place is that the guy at the desk was friendly when you could find him and the sheets seemed clean, the bed comfortable.

Quite outdated.Posted Mar 21, 2014
Bed was clean and comfortable. Shower in bathroom did not work, so unable to shower in the morning. This hotel caters to mostly long term people. Smoking and nonsmoking rooms in same area, and the odor of the smoke was strong. Room had no amenities. It did have a good, flatscreen TV. Staff accommodating to my requests, and they were friendly.

room okay in a sad sack hotelPosted Feb 10, 2014 on Hotels
if you need a comfortable cheap room right near the highway this is the place for you. there's nothing nearby except the highway and the hotel's "free breakfast" is a pot of coffee and some donuts.

I needed an inexpensive place close to Gettysburg and this was the best available. The room was clearly old with a few stains or dents, but the night was comfortable. I had a problem with the smoke detector, but the staff handled it quickly.
