Pros: Hotel was clean. Our room had a fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee pot. But most of all the mattress was comfortable and firm. We will be back soo
Location: There are three great restaurants in Hancock. Cute shops too.
My Husband and I went to the Super 8 because we were scouting out an area to hunt in Worfersburg. The hotel was clean, friendly staff and great waffles.

We found our stay fine and what we expected

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: It was located just off the Hwy and close to many eating locations, and gas stations.
Cons: A little paint maintenance on the wall trim.
Location: We just used it for a sleeping place gas-up and go.
On our arrival at the desk we were greeted very well, the booking was in place and our room was ready, we had a good nights sleep in a clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed the stay.

Great customer Service, but......

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: It was close to where I was going. Customer service was awesome. The room was really clean.
Cons: wifi service. updates appliances and A/C unit
Location: sAll your basic necessities were near by. It's a very small town, but there's gas, food and west Virginia.
The room was horrible. The ac/heater would not adjust to the right temperature. it was either too cold or too hot. The off button doesn't work you had to unplug it for it to turn off. The unit in the room above my room made a clicking noise all not. Didn't sleep well at all. the wifi is very slow and has horrible connection problems. my tablet and laptop kept freezing up so I just shut them down. I would never stay there again.

C&O bike ride Cumberland to Gtown

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Bike washing hose/rags, hot shower. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was poor. Room carpet looks like a cat was pulling on it!
Location: Nothing - it's in Hancock, not much in Hancock. Walked the entire strip to Triangle Tavern (ate there too).
Well, you get what you pay for! It was about expected - an inexpensive place to get a shower and a night's sleep. If you can't get into one of the B&B's and you don't want to camp, this place is OK, barely.

Older hotel, confusing staff

Posted Sep 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was chosen based on location. It is an older hotel with tiny beds. The check in process was a confusing nightmare. The staff either doesn't understand or doesn't accommodate requests because I (apparently) booked a room for one person and they told me that meant a 'single' bed. So I thought, how are my husband and I going to stay in a single bed? And I KNEW I had booked a King sized bed. My husband looked at the room and it was a full size bed. We just took the room because I couldn't understand what it meant that it was a 'single' person bed. When I tried to explain there would be two of us staying in the room they just stared at me like I had a second head. The staff is confusing, the hotel served it's purpose. We won't be staying there again.

Nice budget priced motel

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Nice room.
Cons: Enclosed or covered storage for bicycles. Update the TV.
Location: Near the highway, which is typical of this type of hotel, but the walk to town is not attractive.
Nice budget motel that has benefited from a recent renovation. Room was nice and well equipped, except for the ancient TV. Breakfast was well stocked with the standard continental items. Our bicycles had to be locked outside. I would have been better to have enclosed or at least covered storage for the bikes.

The bed was too soft for us and the breakfast limited. The room was very clean and all the staff very helpful and kind. I would recommend this hotel. Location was very good.
