Nice quite hotel, suitable for a couple getaway.Posted Dec 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nice and peaceful hotel with friendly staff. Only short comings are the lack of lunch facilities and food options for a young family.

Pros: Environment and beautiful meal
Cons: Room way too tight, bed rolled away as sat on it. plugging in kettle behind tv almost impossible. open room to look right at person in ensuite
Facilities: Bare minimum, our rm tight pub ones top; Value: Over-priced; Service: Respectful, Courteous; Cleanliness: Spick and span, but way too small;

Old World Charm, Historic influences.Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The low fuss but staff were always available, felt like a home rather than hotel,motel.
Location: Close to Launceston, and Westbury for a lovely village to stroll around.
It started when we entered the drive, stables, gardens and lovely country aspect but still close to town. We were met with a friendly but highly professional manner, our accommodation details explained fully, then a tour of the facilities. Room was fantastic only to be overshadowed by the reading room and log fire. Didn't want leave!
