“DanPanH”

Everything met our expectations. We have been to Haifa before, but not at this hotel. The views of the city and the harbor are fantastic. Breakfast was fine, but not quite up to their sister hotel in Jerusalem. Missing were smoked salmon with capers and also a fresh omelot. The room was excellent and housekeeping was also first rate.

“Lovely Hotel”

Really nice hotel; once we'd signed in, we got a bottle of wine, bottle of water, chocolates and fresh fruit delivered to the room which was a really nice touch. The milky lobby bar had a very extensive menu and the service was good. The night we ate there, there was a man playing a violin there which was nice. The view from the room was spectacular. Unfortunately breakfast was v minimal choices and disappointing.

“Reasonably comfortable hotel in Haifa”

We stayed at Dan Panorama several times before. It's still a good place to stay, although every time we see some small signs of quality degradation. However, the breakfast is still very good and the view from the 18th floor is magnificent. The hotel personnel is friendly, and the hotel location is very convenient.

“Pricy view is worth it”

Nice place especially the view. Staff wasn't too much "in the know" when I had questions about transportation and such. But the view is everything.

“Great Location, but Tired Rooms”

The best attribute of the Dan Panorama is its location. It is in the Central Haifa area, where all the action is located. There are shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. It is also fairly close to other hotels and the Bahai Gardens. However, the Hotel is badly in need of a facelift, particularly in the guest rooms. Dated furniture and fixtures do not compare well with the other features of the Hotel. They seem to believe that by installing a flat panel television, they can avoid other improvements. Guest services are above average, although it is difficult to get the Hotel staff to do something out of the ordinary. For example, we had a great amount of difficulty getting wash rags for showers. The Israeli breakfasts were great. Next time, I will try the Dan Carmel, which I understand has been kept up better than its sister Hotel.

“Some good, some bad”

There are many things to like about the hotel, including the location, view, and outstanding breakfast. However, traveling in the winter, the air conditioning was turned off, and our room was very hot (being on the 19th floor). Opening the windows cooled the room, but also allowed in loud honking and voices from the bar across the street. Requesting a room facing the quieter side streets may alleviate this problem.
