“Great hotel near the airport”

We were very satisfied with every aspect of this hotel. In addition to it's perfect proximity to the airport (although we hardly heard any air traffic!), it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The service was also great with polite, patient and knowledgeable staff. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone needing a great hotel within minutes of Charleroi airport.

“Handy if you're flying in or out of Charleroi Airport”

We were flying into Cherleroi at about 10pm, so decided to stay near the airport rather than head into Brussels. It was a little bit confusing waiting for the shuttle bus to the hotel, but once we got there it was good. Hotel staff didn't speak much English and I spoke even less French, but they were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a bar which was good, free Wifi and the room was comfortable. Then the shuttle bus back to the airport was easy as.

“Not impressed”

We were so disappointment with this hotel. Firs of all we were so happy as its say it a new hotel. But hotel is made from the cheapest materials, there is only limo on the floor in the bathrooms. Beds are so small even my 3 years cousin will have problem to sleep on it. When we arrived to the hotel reception stuff was so unfriendly. After entering to our room we were suppressed as we got a twin room even asking for double and also mentioned it as a special request. We were told on the reception that in Belgium double room and twin room are the same :DDD and they don't have double room. We couldn't sleep during the night as bed was not comfortable and really small. There was no wardrobe in the room only small shelf so you can't put your clothes on them. Also fridge was missing. Would never go back to this hotel

“Problems getting to the hotel”

We booked this simply as a last free option in the Charleroi Airport area 2 days ahead for a quick sleepover. There are problems getting from the Charleroi Airport to the hotel. The only option is to take the shuttle, as the hotel is 280m away so the taxi won't take you due to short distance. There are no buses and it's impossible to walk due to a solid fence and a motorway. Plus it was freezing and heaps of snow were everywhere. The driving distance is at least 2 kilometers. The hotel had not picked up the phone for at least 30 minutes. After 6th try, they confirmed their shuttle would arrive in 30 minutes. This schedule is not posted anywhere in front of the airport, nor it's available on the hotel's web pages. The shuttle was actually a contracted cab of sort, who briefly showed a small sign with the hotel name on it in his hands. It was vital to stand in front of the advertised "Exit 2" in freezing night to actually get on the shuttle. During this, a shuttle from much cheaper hotel managed to do at least 3 go-arounds picking up luckier guests. The rest of the experience was fine. If you don't have a car, book Etap instead.

“Won't be back”

Hotel was hard to find. Was going to say "needs to have better signs to hotel" BUT maybe you'd be happier NOT being able to find it !! Limited staff, limited menu. Food wasn't that good, didn't ask for fries..... asked for extra salad instead.....got fries, which weren't very appealing. Salad was just lettuce !!! There was another hotel in the area so if we go back to Belgium will probably stay there.
