Hotel tepi danau Ashi yang sangat strategisPosted May 18, 2015
Pros: Lokasi pas ditengah tempat wisata, view dari kamar hotel luar biasa.
Cons: Menu cafe kurang menarik, menu restoran nya harganya sangat mahal.

Perfect location. Large rooms!Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Incredibly friendly staff. Rooms are huge even by western standards. Located beside Lake Ashi with access to the Pirate Ship cruise across the lake.
Location: Use Hakone free pass for boat (or bus) access to Hakone. Visit the sulphur pits and take the tram to the Open Air Museum!
Loved it! There's a convenient free bus service to the hotel (Contact the hotel in advance to make reservations from Odawara) Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who held our bags for us as we were quite early. The hotel exterior does show age, but the interior is clean and very well presented. We headed out via the rear entrance where there's access to a pirate ship that takes you across Lake Ashi to Hakone. (Buy Hakone Free pass at Odawara which gives you unlimited access to transport like the pirate ship, cable cars, buses etc for two days or more) The weather was forecast as cloudy with rain, but to our surprise it was warm and sunny so we were able to see Fuji throughout the day! After visiting various areas (such as the amazing Open Air Museum with Picasso exhibit) we returned to the hotel and were promptly shown to our room. The hotel staff actually came up to the room with us and explained things like how to use the air con etc. The room was huge. We'd booked a superior twin room as it was the only one available on expedia and was relatively inexpensive and it was big (not just by Japanese standards either) The ceilings were really high and we had huge windows with a beautiful view of lake Ashi. Outside of the hotel there isn't really much to do, but they do have a couple of very nice restaurants inside and a private bath area that you can hire for 45 minutes which was a very relaxing end to our day! Highly recommend this hotel!

An enjoyable stayPosted Apr 6, 2015 on Hotels
Nice location, right on the lake with a beautiful view. Close the to boat tour. Friendly staff, although English communication is good in general, it can be improved. The Japanese style suite is surprisingly pleasant.

A Room with a view....Posted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
Fabulous and attentive staff proved to be the highlight. The location is beautiful -on the southern most tip of Lake Ashi. Rather quiet spot with the hotel's 'eating in' a good option for a one night stay. The Junior Suite with its balcony provided an abundance of space but sadly it also carries that 'lived in' lacklustre look alas....

It's a nice hotel!!! Good location, service and friendly people! 箱根飯店是間很棒的飯店，環境很好飯店設施也不錯，地理位置座落於湖的旁邊，可以從放間眺望湖景，而且飯店外就是巴士站非常方便，另外飯店服務人員也非常親切！

To look for Fujiya Hotel shuttle bus insteadPosted Mar 5, 2015 on Hotels
We have mis-communication when arranging for shuttle service from train station to hotel. We were waiting for a bus with Hotel Hakone printed on the bus. After the shuttle time over, we contacted the hotel then we realized that instead it should be a bus with Fujiya Hotel.

Excellent views of the lake and Mt FujiPosted Feb 22, 2015
Excellent hotel but you have to pay for coffee in the room and to use the onsen. There is a public onsen opposite the hotel which was cheaper and empty. Shuttle bus to the station was good.

箱根飯店的評價Posted Feb 22, 2015 on Hotels

Excellent location and great view.Posted Jan 31, 2015 on Hotels
This Hotel is located by Lake Ashi which has a fantastic view. The room's size was rather spacious compared with other Hotels in Tokyo. Love the hot spring bath in the Hotel. My family used the shuttle service provided by the Hotel from and to the Odawara train station. All the staff were very polite and helpful. I recommend visitors to take a stroll to Moto-Hakone, approximately 15 minutes walk. The view of the lake and Mt. Fuji is breath-taking.
