Quick accommodation providedPosted Apr 15, 2015
Even though my check in was @3pm I was provided with an accommodation by 11am without any extra charge and was offered am complimentary late check out at 1pm for free. Awesome staff and grand experience. Definitely worth the money spent. Will go there again.

Convenient location not too far from restaurants on Quinpool Road. However, rooms on lower levels are outdated and lack amenities such as mini-fridges.

A friendly hotel with an excellent restaurant!Posted Mar 29, 2015
The Atlantica Hotel was a lovely surprise. The staff are friendly, helpful and seem to genuinely care about the guests. The Seasons Restaurant serves fabulous food. The seafood chowder was exceptional and the mussels very tasty. The rooms are comfortable but could use a bit of charm. The hotel provides a car service which gets you to city center or to your first appointment of the day. The service saved the day for me and got me to my appointment on time. Highly recommend this hotel for the service, not just at reception, but in the restaurant and bar. Above all I recommend the Seasons Restaurant, a definite treat.

Nice hotel, well located near skating oval.Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Location near skating oval, pizza shop and grocery store. Fridge and microwave included with room.
Cons: Corner of bed-leg has metal which cut Gramma's foot
Location: Skating, natural history museum, hospital visits, and good shopping variety including various restaurants and grocery store
On arrival was upgraded to "family room" with bunkbeds for two grandchildren. Pool with kiddy-pool much enjoyed by 6 yo. Hot-tub out of service.

Close to Hospital where I had to go in morningPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Once I found the dining room I had a pleasent experience with staff and a good meal. It was a bit costly but worth it.
Cons: Light proof drapes could be installed. Rooms near ice machine could be more sound proof or a better rate. Parking should be included .
Location: Depending on the season, there is much to do in Halifax. This hotel is located a ways from the downtown waterfront but a short cab ride will do
I didn't get advertised discount because I booked with agent other than direct with hotel. First room was not made up yet but I was quickly put in another room. Room was next to vending and ice machine which was noisy through the night. Room has excellent drapes but they do not keep light out. I am used to sleeping in the dark but couldn't not darken the room. There were no usual booklets telling about amenities, restaurant, lounge, or nearby features. The room was well kept and reasonably priced. It is easy to complain about any room in the world but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the same price except that I hate to have to pay for overnight parking in the hotel lot.

Pretty nicePosted Mar 5, 2015
Cons: The price of food in the restaurant.
The hotel was very nice and clean, which is something that I always prefer. I would've liked for the dining room to open earlier than 5 p.m. we had two of our grandchildren with us and it wasn't too convenient, I also found the food to be pretty expensive. The pool and whirlpool and a kiddie pool were all very nice and very clean, I would stay there again but probably make arrangements to eat elsewhere.

Comfortable, Pleasant and Well-kept!Posted Mar 5, 2015
Cons: Cost for parking/night was a little steep for my liking.
Location: Very well-located, 15-20 minute walk from everything downtown. It's also has a great view of the local outdoor oval; beautiful on a winter evening!
From the moment I entered the hotel to the moment that I left, the staff were extremely nice to deal with and very helpful! The beds were comfortable, and the traditional rooms are quite spacious.
