Nice HotelPosted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Only complaint I have is the shower curtain was too small for the tub and water kept hitting the floor. Other than that, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was good and offered a good amount of food and drinks. I would recommend this hotel.

Pros: closeness to Dartmouth Crossing and price
Cons: not much selection for breakfast
Room was clean and quiet. Mattress was fine. We were on third floor, so perhaps that helped as we were further from traffic. Location was great - not far from either bridge and close to Dartmouth Crossing. The only problems were noisy air conditioner, which occurs often in motels, and the lack of selection at complimentary breakfast. Also we didn't receive our wake up call. I would certainly recommend motel to other people.

Quiet hotel. Enjoyed the suite. Though surprised that both beds were in the same room. Nice breakfast. Booked for four people yet only three facecloths were in the room on arrival. Front desk did supply more facecloths and towels once requested.

Worn out inn far off the beaten pathPosted Jul 4, 2013
Pros: The hotel staff were very friendly.
Cons: The continental breakfast could use a complete makeover, perhaps fresh fruit and a waffle maker.
Location: If visiting Halifax, stay in Halifax. The public transportation system is okay, but we ended up taking taxis and spending alot of money.
We booked this hotel because we thought it would be within walking distance from the outdoor concert at Aldernay Landing held in honor of Canada Day. It wasn't.

Pros: Price, location.
Cons: Bed wasn't the most comfortable but not the worst either.
Location: Central, definitely no view.
A great hotel for those who aren't interested in a view or other nice to have things that aren't necessities. The room was clean, quiet enough and everything worked as it should. We would stay here again should the need arise, overall a good value for the price.

A good stay.Posted Jun 19, 2013
Pros: Clean bathrooms and a kitchen
Cons: Parking lot had litter on it.
We were skeptical because of some of the negative reviews. However, the stay was much better than we expected and would happily spend our next stay there as well. We were only there one night and missed out on the breakfast (late sleeper), but the room was well equipped to cook your own food if need be (kitchen!?!). The bathroom was clean and large. Again, it was better than some of those reviews make it out to be, pleasantly surprised.

Good value for the pricePosted Jun 13, 2013
Pros: Kitchen in the room, very usefull
Cons: old carpet and furniture
Great service, friendly staff. Hotel is clean but furniture needs to be upgraded or at least updated. I would stay there again with no hesitation great price for a good hotel (breadfast included).
