“Excellent stay at Delta Barrington”

We were really pleased with the desk staff, which even suprised us with wine and chocolate dipped strawberries upon learning of our wedding anniversary!! It was clean and conveniently located for us to walk everywhere downtown Halifax!! The only negative comment would be that we were too close to the elevators therefore it was a bit noisy!!

Hotel was very nice. Bed was SUPER comfy. Rate was pretty cheap for a king size. Valet parking was only $19, which is the same or cheaper than the surrounding parking garages.

We were on our honeymoon and the staff at the Delta Barrington made us feel like the most important guests they had ever had stay with them! It was wonderful and their location is perfect! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Halifax.

“Excellent service”

We stayed at the Delta Barrington on our honeymoon in Halifax and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was alway friendly, polite, efficient and very helpful. Our room was very clean and well maintained with an excellent cleaning crew coming in every day. On the Saturday night of our stay the staff brought us a tray of chocolate covered strawberries, as they knew it was our honeymoon. Yumm! We did use the gym there, which was great for some cardio (they even keep the gym towels in a fridge...very refreshing), but the weights section could use some updating. There is a lounge and a restaurant in the hotel. We didn't enter the lounge, but had a great experience with the restaurant. Good food and excellent service when we were there. Overall this hotel served us very well, and I can't say enough good things about the great staff that they employ!

“Highly recommend”

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff is super friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and clean and hotel was well located and reasonably priced. We had dinner the first evening in the Bar/Lounge (meals come from kitchen on a different floor) and the service was great and the food was very good. Don't bypass the lounge for a meal because it looks small - the food was terrific.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Excellent service, helpful staff. The pool was great for family,with showers & change rooms at the pool- (no need to walk around the hotel in your swimsuit!)It's right downtown, with lots of unique shopping and restaurants in the immediate vicinity,and a short walk to the harbour.(Hotel restaurant not for young kids or a tight budget).

“Nice to be back”

We were warmly welcomed by the staff when we arrived and told about events that were taking place on the water front. The room was very nice and had a nice view of my old city. The restaurant had friendly staff and a well priced breakfast buffet that we enjoyed.

Hotel was perfect. Easy walk to all attractions, very good restaurant in hotel. We'd definitely go back.

“Lovely Hotel”

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel or our stay there. It was an overnight stay as we were in town on business. The pedway to the Casino where our meetings were held was very convenient, especially in February! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
