Centrally Located and Comfortable

Posted Jul 4, 2015
The Sheraton was a perfect place to stay in Halifax, midway between the Citadel and the waterfront. We were close to the Scotia Bank Centre for the Tattoo (great show, not to be missed!) and it was great to be able to park the car and safely walk everywhere. The hotel staff had great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a lovely room. The hotel staff was friendly and helped answer all of our questions.

Friendly staff, however, this hotel does not have it's own dinning room, and no fridge in the room. Not impressive for the price. Parking very limited prior to registering at front desk.

Location: Very nice location near the board walk
The hotel is in a very good location close to the boardwalk. Parking is $20 but it is covered parking. I would stay here again when in Halifax.

Great hotel; very close to downtown amenities.

I have stayed in many Sheraton's and like the others, the staff are wonderful, service great and the whole experience was greatly appreciated by me and my daughters on our road trip to a wedding.

Nice hotel, good value, good location

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: convenient, had a good food court attached nearby
Cons: a safe in room? We didn't realize that using the green sign would give points and $ for not doing laundry although unclear where to use the $ coupon
Location: Close to everything downtown and near good restaurants (esp the sushi across the street, amazing!). We also walked to the citadel and the wharf
Staff were friendly and accommodating. location was very good; we took the train in and it was about a 5-6 block walk to the hotel so no need for taxi. Also in the area was a food store and many restaurants and the harbour. It was clean, comfortable and great value. If we ever came back we would certainly consider it again.

+Comfortable hotel nestled in downtown Halifax

Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: As above
Cons: Larger print telling people that the bottled water was not free for everyone, just club members. Listing of TV channels.
Location: Within walking distance of Halifax ferry, lots of shops and restaurants, near bus route and main streeet to get onto the highway
Nice to have a fridge in a traditional 2 bed room. Coffee maker good and nice touch with the burlap bag holding the coffee packs and the little creamers. Plenty of lamps for good lighting. Plenty of desk and drawer space. Adequate elevators to prevent long waits. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely front lobby. I did not make use of the restuarant, pool, gym, or parking garage. Clean rooms and nice toiletries (Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in a dispenser in the shower, plus non-scented soap bars and lotion). Bed is amazing and pillows are varying densities and thickneeses.

Abgewohntes Hotel in zentraler Lage.

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Zentrale Lage.
