We were welcomed by Ms. Adkins, a lovely girl, very helpful, and a nice guide. Breakfast could be improved (scrambled eggs instead of boiled eggs, using china instead of paper plates). Notwithstanding our stay was very good and next time I am in Halifax, I will definitely go there.

Nice note, friendly staff, but needs maintenance.Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Breakfast, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and location.
Cons: Cleaning and maintenance of pool area, as well as the parking lot.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and the breakfast was great (especially enjoyed the Belgian waffles). The staff were very pleasant! The pool area was in desperate need of cleaning and maintenance though, with rusty water dripping from the ceiling and brown foam floating in the hot tub. The kids didn't seem to mind, because they were enjoying the water slide, but we had to be sure everyone showered after they got out. Also, the parking lot was not cleared of snow very well, and it was quite treacherous getting in and around our vehicle.

Pros: Good value with breakfast and parking included in the rate. Easy drive to the airport and into town. Friendly staff, clean room.
Unexpected visit due to a nor'easter and bad driving conditions.

Uncomfortable stay in halifaxPosted Jan 20, 2015 on Hotels.com
Room was freezing when we checked in. Heating system was not comfortable. We stayed in a queen suite, it consisted of a living room and a bed room. No separate heating was available for bed room. Breakfast was below average. No plans to stay again in quality inn Bayers lake.

Water slide is highlight of stayPosted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Beds, pool, waterslide
Cons: Fresh paint, improved maintenance
Location: Close to Bayer's Lake for shopping.
Fit and finish of rooms is not great. Everything is crooked and/or worn. Duct tape under the sink. Beds were comfy and the waterslide was fun for the kids though.

Comfortable stay.Posted Jan 6, 2015 on Hotels.com
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The tv channels were limited and the movie prices very high. Good location and very easy to get to. This is our go to place when staying in Halifax.
