“Great place and location”
Comfortable hotel and good staff. Only downfall was not enough parking.
“Great Hotel”
I found this to be a lovely hotel in a convenient location in downtown Halifax. Restaurants, bars and shops all in walking distance. Only issue is that the area outside can get really loud on Friday and Saturday nights. I was on the 3rd floor and the noise woke me up at 3am. Something to consider if you are a light sleeper however I would stay there again.

“Parking Problems”
The only problem I found was the parking garage, bigger cars are hard to park, the spaces are small & impossible to park, but they found me a spot that I was able to park in.

We arrived about 3 1:2 hours before check in but the hotel took our luggage to put in our room once the room was ready and gave us a parking pass so we could park our car in the under ground parking. They had our room ready shortly after 1 pm. We were extreamly satisfied with our stay. The breakfast that was included with the room 'blew us away'. It was delicious. The staff was very accomodating and very friendly. We have already been ' singing the praises' of this hotel to friends and family. The only thing that did not appeal to us was some of the activity going on on the street with the local bars and restaurants. We are not ones to go to bars actually felt saddened at some of the sights we saw, however, this did not disturb us and did not reflect on our opinion of the hotel.
“New and Nice Enough”
The building has a new look and feel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are nice. There is a large refriderator, two burner stove, microwave, coffee pot and utensils for an extended stay. The workout area is extremely small. Breakfast was good standard fare free buffet. Compared to other hotels in the area it is nice, not much more.
“Will be going back”
Ed makes this hotel great. But when it is busy they run out of cookies.
