“Great homey feel in downtown Halifax!”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Halliburton. The staff was great, the room was not fancy, but nice and had everything I needed. The location was superb with the Henry House, Spring Garden Road, the waterfront, Brewery Market, and lots of restaurants and bars within a few blocks. Continental breakfast was nothing exciting, but does the job. My only complaint? No gym. But you could run to Point Pleasant Park easily.

“A great introduction to Halifax”

The Haliburton was such a pleasant surprise, from its prime location, small intimate size, comfortable room, and friendly welcome from staff. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel, this is the place to stay. The free parking and continental breakfast were also added features. The food in the restaurant is superb with a small, but creative menu. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer, but we shall return.

This place was great. Clean, pleasant rooms well decorated rooms with comfortable beds. Thick enough walls for real quiet, full array of cable channels, They have a restaurant and patio place for drinks and a fine Japanese restaurant next door. Near port tourism and shopping. And the continental breakfast was above average and dining room super pleasant. Newspapers provided. And lobby computer with printer provided for air check in. Halifax was great.

We loved the Halliburton. The staff were so friendly, breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, huge, and furnished nicely. The surrounding neighborhood was really neat and it was perfectly located to walk everywhere. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a great boutique hotel. Loved the location, and the wonderful continental breakfast. Very convenient computer available in the library. Free coffee and tea in the library as well. My only complaint about the hotel was that we had a room facing the street and it was quite noisy at night. Otherwise, LOVED this hotel.

We took the train in from Montreal, the Halliburton is a short walk away. We had decided not to rent a car and the hotel was in the perfect location a short distance to everything. Excellent Hotel, curtious staff, well appointed room, clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend it to friends and family. The matress was so comfortable we had to go out and buy a new one when we got home!
