A very pleasant stayPosted Oct 28, 2014
The size of the cabins are good, modern and different, set in the middle of nowhere adding to the pleasure. Provisions in Halls Gap are expensive and limited so take all you need with you. A most memorable and enjoyable stay.

RelaxingPosted May 1, 2014
Pros: Wooded seclusion. Clean and comfortable. Wildlife abundant.
Cons: Not much.
Location: Scenic area well worth the stopover for a couple of days. Sheer luxury of having to do nothing and just enjoy the rest in a beautiful spot.
Good choice in spite of funny name. Good base for local walking, touring etc....high point is location in woods with animals hopping by within a few feet whilst having a meal on the outside decking.

Viegwing KangaroosPosted Mar 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
The cabins were of a very high standard. Good location a little far out from most amenities but great for watching the wildlife, is kangaroos.

Wonderful cabin nestled in amongst the bushes.Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Great hospitality, great cabin, hidden in nature.
Cons: Perhaps if the dishes were a tad cleaner but that is an insignificant detail.
Location: Halls Gap has neat restaurants and cafes. Lots of hiking to be done in Halls Gap!
My partner and I stayed at the Treehouse cabin over the long weekend and we loved it! We are definitely planning to stay there in the future. We never met the owners but I spoke to one of them over the phone informing them that we will be late and might not get in until midnight. This was no problem as she said she would leave the lights on (so we can see where we were going) and gave us our access code. I already knew we were going to have an excellent stay because of this hospitality. When we finally got into our cabin we couldn't have been more impressed. The place was spacious and neat with lots of natural light. The bathroom itself had window ceilings. The cabins aren't far from the town centre and during the day we saw kangaroos, echidnas and beautiful birds in and around the cabin grounds. It was just beautiful. It's tucked away from plain sight and I think that works to their advantage. Beautiful, beautiful cabin!!!

Kangaroos in the garden!Posted Mar 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
The DULC lodge was so wonderful it is hard to describe! Set amongst beautiful bushland, we not only encountered kangaroos close up, but all sorts of lovely wild birds and bats. The accommodation was lovely, thoughtfully set out so we could see the trees and the animals from all parts of the cabin. The furniture and bed were all really comfortable and high quality, and the place was beautifully clean. The friendly owners made us feel very welcome to this very special place.

Beautiful bush retreatPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: The fireplace, the bath and the kitchen facilities.
Location: Lots to do in Halls Gap, but bring some food supplies, the shops shut early!
My fiance and I stayed over the weekend and really enjoyed our time at the DULC cabins, despite the wild weather! It was nice to come back from our hike to warm up in our cozy cabin by the fire.
