“A-1 breakfast”

We stayed here because we were attending a wedding 5 miles east in Brownsville. The motel was very satisfactory, but the free breakfast with coupon at the restaurant was excellent! I had the one egg, 2 pieces of bacon, hash browns, toast and coffee. Considering what most places have for a free breakfast, this was outstanding.

“Nice motel with nice staff”

Very well maintained. My room was very large and bed comfortable. Weather was horrible so it was nice to have the restaurant on the grounds. Very pleasant staff. Wish there had been a couch or lounge chair in the room. Had to sit on the bed to knit and watch TV. I travel for business so it also would have been nice to have a desk area but the table and chairs in the room worked out OK. Will stay again. Rates were fine.

“better than I expected”

I wasn't excited about a travel-lodge near the highway but it was quiet. The room was clean. Everything was easy. The staff was very,very helpful. The cafe was decent with pleasant real people. Not fancy but good service honest answers. I left a small tip for the maid and she left a note that they could not take any money from the room unless there was a note stating it was for them. I would recommend this hotel

“Low price”

Good value in an older hotel. A little out of the way. Haven't stayed in an outside entrance hotel in a long time.

“family friendly”

We needed a simple, easy access, family friendly hotel for an extended stay while watching the USA track and field olympic trials. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. It was a very basic, no frills hotel, which worked well for us.

“We was happy”

Very friendly welcome. All rooms first floor, parking in front of the clean rooms. Classic Motelrooms with all was we need. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free Breakfast at the Restaurant, with fresh eggs cocked to order, hashbrowns, bacon, toast, coffee. Very tasteful.

“truck stop”

Further away than we wanted. Just a truck stop.
