Everything was broken. We had originally asked for a suite with a jacuzzi tub and the one they had left was broken so they had to put us in a 2 queen regular room. The front desk was really nice though and gave us a discount which i appreciated but was still disappointed because i had gotten it for my husband who has back issues and he doesn’t like going in public pool areas. When we get in the room, there was water all over the bathroom floor, we had to plug in the fridge, the wood in front of the fridge was all tore up and there was rust and mold all over the bathroom. We went to the pool room and the bathroom door was busted and the sauna was broken. Just a very disappointing experience since I usually love staying at Americ Inns and usually have really good experiences with them.

Nice quiet stay with a pool, hot tub, and waffles in the morning. The front desk person when we checked in (I believe her name was Jaimie?) was very friendly and welcoming

Carpeting and runners were absolutely dirty and worn out. Clearly need replacement to bring motel up to decent. Apparently haven’t had a manager come through in quite a while. Or recent dirt wear not cleaned up!

1 week stay
1 week stay. The front desk staff is always so sweet, especially Jamie. She has always been so kind to me over the years I’ve stayed periodically. She remembers my name and my visits in the past and goes out of her way to be accommodating, and when my son is with for the trips, she makes his time at the hotel special too! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Housekeeping is also very sweet.

First let me preface that this is a hotel that we have stayed at many times in MN as it is centrally located between our children, but it was pretty run down and looked like no one has really invested the time to keep it up. The first room that we were given had sheets piled on the bed and used coffee cups on the nightstand. The second room that we stayed in had holes in the walls and other places that were patched and not repainted. The carpet was ripped, the pictures on the wall had a dried substance on them.The back security door wasn't secure as you could just walk in. Jamie the front desk attendant was rude when we told her about the holes. The hot tub was dirty and way too much chlorine that made our eyes burn and skin itch. The pool had brown smears in it, so not sure what that was. Needless to say we will have to find another place to stay next time.

Bathroom underwater
Woke up to the entire bathroom flooding and leaking from the ceiling. All they did was offer a towel. Nothing to make up for it, no new room, and they expected me to clean it up.

When we arrived the outside was not well kept. As we entered it smelled musty, smokey and just awful. We checked in and went to our room and seen there was just a hole where the peep hole was and u could see into the room. Upon entering the room we were met with yet another strong smell of something dead or feces. Both windows were open so Im assuming they were trying to air it out. There was white stuff splattered on the armoir and counter. The carpet by the door was rippled and a tripping hazard. The pullout couch had sheets haning out of the sides and a huge stain in the corner that looked to be feces and urine and smelled that way. There was what looked to be feces smeared on the inside of the main door. The pool area was a total mess! Stuff all over and the floors looked like they had not been cleaned in awhile. The pool and hot tub were disgusting with stuff on the floor of both. I could go on but I think I have made my point of why we are giving a bad review. We immediatley went to the front desk and told the front desk lady (Kelly) that we would not be staying due to the conditions I explained above. Kelly was very kind and said she would approve a refund and gave me the # to call (I booked thru Expedia) and told me to give them her name and have them call her. I did that right away and was called back within the hr with a refund confirmation. We were fully refunded within 3 days. Kelly needs a raise or a new job! THIS PLACE IS AWFUL....

Disgusting, dirty and unsafe.
They upgraded me to a jacuzzi suite but said I couldn’t use the jacuzzi because it was broken. The lock inside the door was broken off and that’s very alarming when I was traveling alone. The floors were disgusting and I also slept on top of the sheets. It smelled like cigarettes horribly in the room. The exterior lock on the building was also broken which would allow anyone in. Overall the place was a dump.

Room smelt like water immediately when walked into. After inspection, the room was clean and everything that should be there was there. It was just the overwhelming smell of something being wet that through me off. Also, the toilet was really tall. I am a full grown man that had his feet dangling while sitting down. On the other end, we woke up to a good breakfast and easy checkout.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Mold on ceiling, gunk in the jets of the jacuzzi, musty smelling, staff were not helpful and tried to get out of talking to manager to get us a refund. Never ever staying there again and wouldn’t recommend. Couldn’t breathe in the room and ended up with a bad cough after leaving.

Nice location , but the room was not untenable
Unfortunately I was unable to stay in this particular room as the cigarette smell was unbearable. The front desk was unable to move us, which seemed to be due to lack of rooms so not entirely their fault. That being said, it was not adequate for my family to stay at this hotel and we found accommodations elsewhere.

Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Housekeeping decided daily whether or not to empty trash and renew towels. The new gentleman on nights was not willing to go out of his way for anything. All in all was well worth the money.

This is a honest review. I stayed at the place for 6 days. For a Motel (it’s a Motel) I wasn’t expecting much. But for the money I paid, honestly I was hoping for something to remember the place for. I mean the beds were not bad nor uncomfortable and the room itself was ok, but you can tell not much effort goes into cleaning it. There were crumbs, dust all over the furniture, the toilet seat needs to be replaced or at least even repainted. The bathtub drain was nasty and the bathtub itself very slippery when wet. Very dangerous. The hallways appeared to have been under construction and carpet was dirty. The end of the hallway had a couch sitting there for the entirety of my stay blocking the staircase. The door cards kept on failing at one point I had to go to the main 4 times to have it rescanned. Breakfast is a joke with stale bread, some weird sausage and eggs probably from the freezer section of a gas station. The grounds were also unkempt. Again, it is a motel but thy shouldn’t charge more than $60 for what they are offering. I will never go back there nor would I recommend anyone to do so

The property is way outdated. You can tell anything that they would repair they did it basically just to get by temporary kind of like a bubble gum repair. They may have sometime recently painted the walls because there was blue tape on top of the baseboard. Which I was there for 3 days and it was still there the day I left. Walking around my room barefooted turned my feet black, felt real uncomfortable with the sheets and towels with the condition of the motel
