“Great hotel for leisure and business”

The hotel is located conveniently about 100 yeards across from the Central Station. From there public transportation gets you in a few minutes to one of the stops closest to the exhibtion halls or conference center. Central Station and thus the hotel is located in the center of myriads of restaurants from costly to inexpensive, plenty of shopping opportunities along Hamburg's elegant avenues around the Alster and adjacent canals, art museums, theaters, music halls, bars. The hotel has a five level spa area. Guests can use at no charge the large swimming pool, 4 saunas, the 150 meter daring water slide decending from the 6th to the 2nd floor, a fully equipped gym. Should you be exhausted from all that fun, you can take a nap on comfortable chaises in the sauna area. If you always thought it is the ultimate kick to drive a fast car on a German Autobahn really fast , try the water slide. There you'll experience kick. While perfectly safe - I used it many times during my stay - it makes you believe for a brief moment your life is coming to an end. This is what was included in the price: huge breakfast buffet, wellness spa (as described above), ticket for public transportation for the whole city of Hamburg, flawless internet, cable TV. I will come back because I appreciate value. You are flying out of Hamburg on your way back? You can use your free public transportation ticket to go directly to the airport without changing trains. How about that for a slice of fried gold?

All staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Breakfast fantastic. Rooms cosy and warm. Position of hotel opposite station and close to shopping precinct. I would recommend staying in this hotel to anyone travelling to Hamburg.

“Perfect Location”

Best location ever. Just outside the main station. Easy access to the touristic places and shopping locations. Rooms are very clean, but small and not very up-to-dated. Excellent breakfast. Staff very gentle and helpful, with one exception. No issues with noises; window when closed blocks them all. Don't use the hotel phone. It's an absurd what they charge you! They charged me 30 euros for 30min for a local call!

“For Sightseeing in Hamburg”

Well, the location of this hotel is great - just behind the railway station. You can reach the main attractions by walking. The hotel also inlcuded the 3-ticket-pass for public transportation - really nice. The breakfast was great. The room wasn't that perfect. I cannot recommend this hotel in summer, as it hasn't aircondition. You can't leave the window open, as the street is very loud. So you can decide between a quiet and warm night, or a loud and comfortable night. Big plus, they have WiFi for free in the lobby.

“Tiny Room”

The Hotel has a great breakfast, included. The common areas are nice, the swimming pool is awesome. Most part of the staff are polite and helpful, with just one exception. Negative point is the size/quality of the room. It is VERY small and not modern at all. Compared to American Hotels, the room wouldn't receive more than 2 stars.
