“Professional service”
Great location - near the downtown/ train station and in a park area, next to the lake. Spacious room area. Sauna/spa , pool, fitness center - all in a good shape and well maintained. And very professional service - in a lobby, in a breakfast restaurant (give it a try), etc.

The hotel is 2 Min. away from the train station Damtor (S-Bahn and international trains!). The rooms are big and very clean. Expecially nice were the big shower, the king size bed and the gorgeous breakfast buffet.

very good hotel, good service and good food. but AT&T card can not be used , that is a bit unexpected, and cause some trouble for me

“A lovely stay”
Had a lovely stay of 4 nights at this hotel. Staff were uniformly friendly, pleasant, helpful. Room was very clean and quiet, and of decent size. In the spa I only used the pool -- very nice. Dinner at the in-house Piazza Romana restaurant was lovely if a bit pricey, service and food were excellent. Overall pleasant atmosphere. The lack of a clothes iron or a coffee-pot in the room was a bit of an inconvenience, but coffee-shops at least abound within minutes' walking distance.
“Most affordable 5 star hotel in Hamburg”
They do have A/C. Not an A/C blasting cold air but enough to remove the humidity from the room during the view warm weeks during the summer.

Conveniently located. Great service. Very nice bathroom. Bed was average. Restaurant food excellent. Personnal was very helpful and spoke good English.

Great property--deserving of all its stars. Close to major train station. Walking-distance restaurants take some work to find, but there are some good ones not too far to the east. High levels of English proficiency amongst employees, if it matters to you.
