“Very efficient Hotel.”

Great service, very helpful staff. Good pool and spa facilities. Quiet location close to the lake and within walking distance to the Town Square and very close to the conference centre. The best hotel mattresses that I've slept on too!

“Mike from America”

I've stayed at this hotel several times (for the right price - sometimes it's a little pricey) and have always gotten more value for my money. The staff is courteous and attentive; the rooms are clean, the hotel is clean, the elevators fast, the location is great (right next to the lake), there is always convenient taxis available, and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Whenever I fly in from the U.S. they have always made the effort to allow early check-ins when rooms are available with no problems. I highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure travelers.

“Not quite 5*”

Despite briefing the restauraunt 3 days before my request for a window table was not available on the night. Falls short of 5* for the following reasons: No ice machine Requested ice bucket too small to take champagne bottle No trouser press No dressing table Bottled water in room €7-00 a bottle! Bath only big enough to crouch in!

“a nice hotel”

Little bit away from Hamburg central station,but good located to have relaxing time. If you like to have peaceful time from all noises,then this will be very good hotel.

“Where do the five stars come from?”

Nice enough hotel - but still... 1. Free broadband only in lounge 2. Uncomfortable bed (too soft for me) 3. Uncomfortably hot - no A/C in winter and windows unable to be opened due to 'anti-suicide' security. To be fair, when I complained the technician came up and released the windows, but that was on the last night of my three-night stay 4. Overall three, maybe four star quality at a push - not even close to other five stars I have stayed in Would not recommend it

“This probably used to be a good hotel”

Officially this is a five star hotel - but not worth the cost. It's an old hotel - and not up to todays standards. The location isn't great - and the webpage metioned an offside fitness center that the staff was not able to locate. Not good enough. The onside fitness was small. On the plus side the staff was kind and the room was good if not great.
