Quiet, clean and great breakfastPosted Apr 13, 2013
A very comfortable, quiet and immaculate one-night stay between airport arrival and further travels. Incredibly delicious and varied breakfast buffet in a lovely setting is available. Brunch is somewhat expensive, but worth it.

Sheet was soiled, but reception offered a new room and fixed the room immediately. An ok choice for one night...12.00 cab to airport.

Good and BadPosted Sep 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Good: the food in the hotel restaurant was wonderful! The room was fine - nothing fancy, but fine. The Bad: We were placed in the room right on the end next to the elevator - so loud!!! We could hear the machinery for the elevator operation, the squeaky doors, and of course the people coming and going. Not good when we had to go to bed early for a 6 am flight in the morning. Don't accept any of the rooms with 01 number (301, 401, etc) - way too loud! Oh, and there are no washcloths provided or hair conditioner. Only a dispenser on the shower wall with a shampoo/body wash combo. Tub is very narrow and the shower curtain sticks to you when it is wet. They need to install the curved bars to give more room.

The shower is not very powerful or nice. The location was handy for us as we went to a concert at the Stadtpark. However, in general there are little to no amenities around. The hotel is reasonably well situated for the airport though (which was also handy) -- 3 stops with the S-bahn after a 15 minute walk from there. It is hard to believe this hotel is rated 4-star. Makes you wonder about the criteria.

Queens Hotel Hamburg - Great for businessPosted Sep 25, 2011 on Hotels.com
Very nice and clean hotel and resemblant of German efficiency. The breakfast buffet was top notch and puts most continental breakfasts offered by more expensive hotels to shame. The front desk staff were excellent and very friendly. It's a shame that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and ideally used when doing business in City Nord or near the airport.

Front desk staff is extremely nice and helpful Internet is free, in hour-long blocks; it used to be rather expensive. Breakfast is too expensive. The bed is comfortable. Hotel is fairly quiet. No AC but windows open wide.

Not bad for a transit nightPosted Sep 17, 2008 on Hotels.com
This was a decent hotel for a decent price. My 2 complaints were that they did not have a shuttle from the airport (even though they are an airport hotel) so I had to take and expensive cab ride, and the WiFi was very pricey. At the end of my trip I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott also near the airport, and they had a free shuttle and free Wifi. It happened that I payed around the same price, though i think generally the Courtyard is more expensive (although a nicer property overall and better location).

Mycket bra boende intill vacker stadsparkPosted Jul 6, 2008 on Hotels.com
Ett mycket bra hotell med fin standard. Läget är utmärkt med lagom avstånd till citykärnan om man inte vill bo mitt i city. . Hotellets service får högt betyg och den stora frukostbuffén med allt det goda.
