“ideal for short stay”
Check in was fine and the room was large and spacious, breakfast in the morning was very good plenty of choice and fresh. On checking out it took a while to explain that i had already paid for my room through expedia, but we got there in the end. Overall a good experience and would stay there again.
“Basic hotel accomodation”
Hotel was chosen as it was near to the theatre we wanted to visit, it was not particularly near the city of Hamburg, however the No 3 bus immediately outside the hotel made it easy to get in and out of the city with about a 15 to 20 minute ride. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. Our room faced the main road and it was a little noisy in the morning so I would ask for a quiet room if possible. The pillows were horrendous but generally the room was OK. The breakfast per person was expensive and in hindsight should have been avoided. I would class this as a 2 to 3 star hotel but not a 4 star one as dipicted in their hotel literature and therefore a little on the expensive side for this type of hotel.
