We reserved a room at the hotel. But we were sent to an apartment building nearby with no security. Adicts were geting high with spoons and neddles in the cozy entrance every night. The non-hotel building had 5 stories without elevator and no staff. If we had wanted an apartment without reception or security, we would have rented one for halve of what we paid. The apartment was in bad condition, the bathroom floor was all broken and covered with a dirty carpet. In my view this hotel is a total scam.

Cute old-fashioned decor, carpet in room needs replacing, but i liked that it had an ensuite bathroom. The staff are super friendly and the area is very walkable and directly beside a metro / subway. Lots of unhoused people and many under the influence of substances that are wandering about outside the hotel, but as a solo female i still felt safe.

We loved the 14-foot ceilings in our room. The room was clean and quite and nicely furnished. The breakfast buffet was excellent. And the location next to the bus terminal and train station made it an excellent pedestrian place. It is an old building with a grand spiral staircase. If you're sensitive to cigarette smoke there was a faint odour in the stairwell and strong smell in the restaurant service corridor.

Noisy
Walls are so thin we could hear one neighbour snoring, and another vomiting, the windows block no noise from the street so you'll be treated to the noise of emergency vehicle sirens and the wildlife lingering outside.

We paid for a double room we were given a 48 Inch bed The room May have been 60 inches wide We complained at the desk but were told that they were full and would not give us a double bed We paid 502 euros for this We we’re not happy with hotel or staff Maureen Stevens

Not accessible, cramped room, good breakfast
The room was cramped and difficult to navigate with two people. The entrance has an immediate staircase, so it's not accessible for wheelchair users, and difficult with heavy luggage. There was a loud noise from 8am-11pm right outside the window that made it hard to sleep. The breakfast was included and very food.

The room was clean and comfortable but there was no coffee maker, refrigerator, functional television, or air conditioner. The major issue, however, was the noise. The hotel is across from the bus station and the area in between seems to be a popular meeting place for people who like to stay up till dawn breaking bottles and yelling at one another. Very difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Dated but OK
An older building so layout and rooms a little dated. Nevertheless comfortable and clean. It is on a noisy street corner, fine with double glazed windows closed, but very noisy when windows open. 14 hotels across four countries in three weeks, all prebooked, and this is the first one where i have had to complete a registration form and had my passport studied, including even my place of birth!

Charming building, clean room, excellent location near the main train station. Walking distance to shopping, great restaurants, busses, historical sites. Fantastic, tasty complimentary breakfast buffet. Recommend highly! Will stay there again!

It was such a busy ,noisy area and so many homeless lingering on the street. Ironically we had great meals right around the corner . The breakfast at the hotel was also good and our room was nice I just didn’t feel safe

If you dislike cigarette smoke, must avoid
Great central location, solid free breakfast are the positives. Negatives: musty and the entire place smells like cigarettes', even in ostensibly smoke free rooms. The shower requires a person be nimble -- very difficult to enter or exit.

Hotel was centrally located, walking distance from tourist area but in a very dirty area, next to central train station. Breakfast was good. Room didn’t have Air Con, have to sleep with windows open during summer and get all the traffic noise. No hotel parking available , not even unloading bay for luggage. Parking at the hotel recommended garage charged 32 EUR night.

The hotel in general is clean, breakfast is okay, not much selection at the buffet. No AC, we had to keep the windows open and we hear a lot screaming/ yelling from people on the streets. There seem to be a lot of homeless people at the vicinity.

The hotel did not have ac so we need to have windows open. The noisy from the street people and hostel next door kept us awake all hours of the nights. There was a people present most of the time. Lots of people begging for money just outside the door. I will not stay there again.

This hotel was reasonably priced and city tax was only an additional EUR 3.50 !! Bargain !! I enjoy walking and this is actually in a good location to access local sights. There are however lots of homeless people sleeping rough in shop doorways... people begging... and groups of ethnic males hanging around who look like immigrant refugees ! The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Pleasantly surprised.
Good sized room, very clean. It is a budget hotel but for £60 includes breakfast. Much better than I was expecting. Location is pretty good very near to the central station. Would have liked a kettle in the room.

The hotel was very clean on arrival, although house keeping do not clean the room daily, I did ask for a clean mid-stay, which was completed. The reception are very helpful and some are friendly. Except for one young man who was very rude, when I came in to collect my keys, this was on the evening of 1st January about 8.30pm. I had not seen him before at reception. I should have complained to management the next morning as I was checking out but I was not asked if my stay had been ok, so I was not tea given the opportunity but I do feel he should be spoken to about his abrupt & rude attitude. If this had happened again I would definitely haff be e spoken to management.

The hotel is basic but ok, breakfast was good and the staff very nice. The only problem and it is a BIG ONE is where the hotel is located. Basically you don’t want to be going out after dark it has some very dodgy characters lurking around. That said there are loads of hotels around this area and the station is very accessible with a fairly strong police presence.
