Very good hotel.Posted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: high ceilings, high standards of room furnishings, separate toilet in the bathroom dressing area.
Cons: replenishing of tea coffee and milk in the room.
very close to shops, sight seeing and transport. I loved the gym and pool etc and wished I had more time to use them. This is not a homely hotel, it is very impersonal, with the reception desk being on the second floor as entry to the hotel can be from the road or through a shopping area. I quite liked this , and I would have definitely have liked this if I was staying with young children as the corridors and open areas were spacious.

Excellent executive business hotelPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Spacious rooms and lobbies, fast elevators, room luxuries and helpful staff.
Cons: Trying to have every wonderful luxury for a customer can sometimes make things more complicated than they need to be.
Location: Within walking distance of train station, Kusnsthalle art Museum and fun, upscale shopping.
Wonderful clean, safe, well located hotel catering to upscale business clientele though nice for tourists as well.

Welcoming & luxurious - great for a treat!Posted Jul 23, 2013
First the positives: Friendly helpful staff who were not patronising or obsequious (especially the concierge lady who found us a table at a nice restaurant at very short notice on a Saturday night). Clean well-equipped room with lots of nice luxury toiletries and fluffy white towels/robes. Quiet and tranquil - no door slamming or noise at all from the road Great spa area to chill out in with an area to make tea and sit and read magazines etc. And now the negatives: Very expensive breakfast - 30 Euros per person per day (it was very good though with plenty of choice) Two smallish beds rather than a large double bed so we had to push them together even though we'd requested a large double bed specifically. Very expensive valet parking - 30 Euros per day (some days we were given some free cold water to take out with us but it depended upon which person brought out car round for us as some didn't bother) Overall - Expensive but fabulous for a luxury break away:)

Good service as you would expect from this top class hotel. Not cheap, but you wouldn't expect it to be...

Park Hyatt Hotel HamburgPosted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: The breakfasts were some of the best we have encountered, and the conceirge services were world class.
Cons: There were no negatives.
Location: Superb location, directly in the centre of Hamburg, with the Alster Lake only a few minutes away on foot.
An exceptional hotel, which rightly deserves its number 1 rating in Hamburg.

great shopping right outside your doorPosted Jul 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
Good stay. Central location and close to all forms of transportation. Was disappointed that hotel only provided 30 min. of free wifi. The gym was clean and was well equipped.

The Park Hyatt Hamburg is one of the nucest hotels I have ever stayed in. It's location in on the promenade was very convenient for shopping. The service was impeccable.
