Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Everything and more
Cons: hotel food a little pricy but is to be expected
Location: everything is right next door, shops are amazing, and near plaza.
This is well centralized hotel near everything, shops next door, plaza, metro , bus, taxis, restaurants is a big plus, hotel all speak English. modern facility with great view and friendly staff, has free spa services except for massage, great restaurants and café, but a bit high cost, lucky great café around the corner and amazing buildings al over. free internet and top notch quality in everything.. amazing beds.

Close to good restaurants and the city hall.

Pros: Cleanliness and friendliness of staff.
Cons: Air conditioning could have worked better, but it was typical for most Europe hotels.
One of the best hotels I have stayed in....beautiful rooms with everything you could need. Staff was very cordial and helpful to us as US visitors. The breakfast buffet was expensive, but well worth the price. Even had champagne!!

Lovely Hotel

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Coffee Maker in the room Rubber Ducky in the bath Comfortable beds
Location: Good location for exploring the city We enjoyed a nice meal at the Hanoi Deli Restaurant Vietnamese restaurant close by
Enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel Family of four, so the large room with loads of space was very comfortable and the beds were super comfy. Coffee machine was great. We used the Hotel Car park for 26 Euros a day, there was probably cheaper car parks however this was very convenient. Lovely relaxing swimming pool with spa area that we used each day, (beware if you have young children of the naked people walking around the spa area) We are vegetarian so we didn't have the buffet breakfast as they don't tend to work out very good value for money for us, however there was a 'Crobag' cafe 2 minutes walk away that 'set us up' for the day.

Brilliant location for business or vacation travel

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed and rooms and location
Cons: The only thing missing was a Nespresso machine in the room. There is a cafe downstairs, but that's no good in a hurry, or late at night.
Stayed on business. Very comfortable. Close (short walking-with-suitcase distance) to S and U-bahn transport and the staff were very good. The location is brilliantly central with excellent shopping and food options.

Nice hotel in the city center

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Location: city center, good for exploration of the city and shopping
The location of the hotel is right in the center of Hamburg. Facilities are excellent. The hotel has a spa and an indoor pool. The room was spacious with bathtub and shower. Everything was in a very modern style which I prefer.

This is one of the best hotels we stayed in and Hamburg was awesome! We checked in late and the hotel. Was busy so we got a double upgrade to our room. It was beautiful and very clean.

Hotel in Centre of Hamburg

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Food in Restaurant was excellent
Cons: To allow staff a freedom to talk to guests without fear of their manager giving them greif.
Location: S-Bahn station very close with direct link to airport. Alter and Townhall only a few minutes walk away.
Holidaying during world cup was possibly a mistake, especially as Germany won (good luck to them). Enjoyed the stay but found the staff's inability to chat to guests a bit of a problem.
