ok hotelPosted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: close to shops
Cons: The bathroom
Hotel looked ok from the front. The room was very basic with a queen bed in the main room which didn't leave much room for 4 people to move around. The bedroom had 2 single beds which was ok but the bathroom was not what i would consider to be suitable as it had mold on the ceiling and smelt funny. I did notice in other parts of the grounds that what appeared to be double rooms looked like they had been upgraded. Hope this means the rest of the rooms will be done soon

Pleasant accommodation and very close to the rugby stadium. Only stayed one night but enjoyed our stay there.

Could be nice if your not in the old side!Posted Feb 21, 2015
Looking at the photos makes you think it's modernised and I'm sure select rooms are. The one we were put in was unfortunately a very old room. Bed was very old. Fridge had to be turned off as it was rattling because the main bed was placed in the kitchen/dining. The 2 single beds were located in what should have been the master room. The king bed is the old style of having 2 mattress zipped together. The spa pool was mediocre at best. Head rests removed and no button to turn on bubbles. Overall it was a pretty crap bed for the night!

Standards not really metPosted Feb 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
Unfortunately the photos displayed on the website do not reflect the actual. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment and when we arrived they were running late with cleaning so hung around waiting. Once we got to our room, discovered it was very old, no air conditioning, old roll together beds, only one fan in the apartment and it was a very sticky night. Would have been too noisy to have the windows opened. Grotty bathroom that needs revamping and the paintwork on the walls/ doors need a major overhaul. For the price of $169 per night, I expected more. The couch was old and uncomfortable and the seats in the bar were so old and cruddy it just wasn't appealing. On a positive the pool was nice and the staff were nice enough though. I felt it was a bit overpriced for the standard of rooms.

Pros: Changed our room when we booked in early because our room wasn't ready. No problems and done in a friendly and helpful manner.
Cons: Noisy and ineffective aircon in a room that was very hot after a day in the sun.
