Pool area needed cleaning

Our stay was ok. Pool was dirty. Lots of teenage boys running around on the first floor. Quiet where we were. Breakfast was good.

Great stay ...hotel very well run and ensured quiet hours were followed. with a lot of hockey teams staying here for the weekend it was very enjoyable and close to the highway

I was satisfied and would return if needed

I was comfortable. It was clean and the service was good. It was satisfactory. The mattress needs replacing in room 203. The carpeting looked realitively new, which is important if you have allergies. The gym was ok. I have been in worse. The nautilus needs lubrication as the weights look rusted and don't move smoothly. So either maintain it or chuck it because someone who would use that machine like me, will avoid it if it doesn't work the way it should to avoid injury. So it is collecting dust.

We reserved a this hotel because it allows pets. We also had a family of four. Con: The room was substandard, beds hard, and not updated as the other parts of the hotel are...which considering the pet factor that could be the reason. However I was charged $20 per day extra for my room that I paid the same amount as others in the "other " part of the hotel. We also shared the floor with a mite hockey team, I guess they rated as low as "bringing your pet" and got the same type of room accommodations. Pro:Quite, staff was very courteous, and easy access to parking. Free breakfast was lacking, but for $5 extra you could get an omelet and hot items.

Lovely front desk area, rooms a bit dated. Very nice front desk check in. No office chair at my desk, instead an arm chair that was about a foot too low for table use, plugs for laptop not easily accessible. Had to eat and work in my bed. Not set up for the business traveller. Restaurant also not accommodating for vegetarians - only salads on the dinner menu. A pasta was made up for me, which was steamed vegetables (which I imagine were the side from the meat dinners) on top of noodles, with a tomato sauce on top. Inedible, it was sent back and I went out.

Great Service - Nice Hotel!

The staff at this Best Western Plus went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. Our suite was clean and comfortable with ample room for business and relaxation. We were able to arrange a family dinner for 30 on very short notice which was delicious. From the front desk to the restaurant, the hotel event co-ordinator to the housekeeping staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. This is a busy hotel and we were unable to book through the Best Western site but Hotels.com provided the necessary accommodation. Thank you!!

Home away from home with servants

We were attending a family wedding in Brantford. The venue was too far for us to drive from our home and this presented us with an opportunity to spend some couple time in the same hotel we stayed in on our wedding night. Happily the quality of service was great.
