This hotel sets the standard. Superb!Posted Mar 8, 2015 on Hotels
Superb accommodation, fantastic view and a hostess who couldn't do enough. Our expectations were exceeded by The Stables and the lovely people who run it. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Cambridge.

Our stay was outstanding! The hosts were very hospitable and very friendly. They offered to help in anyway possible and ultimately said "treat it as your home" which, was amazing. Huntington Stables is absolutely an awesome place.

Spoil yourself ... you're worth it!Posted Jan 7, 2015 on Hotels
We booked at Huntington Stables with a view to indulging ourselves on our last night in NZ and we weren't disappointed. We were expecting a relatively remote (farm-like) location, so we were a little surprised when we pulled into the driveway having barely left the centre of Cambridge! There are hints of suburbia, with a few homes in the near view, but the peace, serenity and spectacular landscapes are enough to transport you to a rural paradise, with the added benefit of convenience to the beautiful town of Cambridge. Only 30 minutes from Hobbiton and less than 2 hours from Auckland airport, this was a perfect spot to spend our last night in NZ. My wife and I stayed for one night in the South stable; a beautiful space with every amenity considered. We were pampered with a beautiful anti-pasto plate on arrival and we felt so relaxed and comfortable that we didn't want to leave! So many lovely and luxurious touches to the service provided my Robyn and her family, too numerous to list. Suffice to say that you will not want for anything. Yes, it's a little pricey but you get what you pay for and we will certainly stay here again. As the title suggests ... spoil yourself, you're worth it!!

Top notch B&BPosted Nov 24, 2014 on Hotels
My wife and I stayed here 2 NOV 2014 as part of our vacation. Robyn, the owner, greeted us as we parked the car by name and showed us to our room. She then brought us a fabulous antipasto plate and a bottle of wine. Sitting on the deck over looking the beautiful view of fields and mountains was incredible. The facilities are top notch and very clean. The bath, kitchen and living areas are spacious and bright with superb decor. The area is rural but only a five minute drive to town. I cannot recommend Huntington Stables highly enough for anyone who wants a first class B&B.
