The room was spacious with two king size beds. There was everything we needed for a night away. The heat pump kept us warm. The shower was quite slippery, so be careful when taking a shower.

Liked the large room and king bed though my pillow was hard like brick, and thick. Luckily found a spare pillow that was softer and smaller. Disliked hand basin in room instead of in the same room as the toilet and shower. There was a bedside lamp but nowhere to plug it in. Lights from nearby apartment block made the room light as no curtain on window on that side of room. Coming from a quiet rural area found the traffic noise annoying.

We were in a top floor unit (19 I think). Aside from the moderately good view, everything seemed cheap & nasty, from the bed that would be better as a trampoline, wafer thin pillows (with no spares), table & chairs stuck out in the entry, and an incredibly noisy extractor fan in the bathroom that was last cleaned by Moses. Worst was the road noise. All-in-all, if you're wanting a place to sleep, find somewhere else.

The room was enormous. The bathroom and shower would hold a rugby team! Perfectly located for a 5 km run around the lake & back.

The property is very dated. Very old furnishings. No insect screen. No central heating or cooling. A fan and a heater. Nothing good about the property. The hot tub is deep with no seats. Hard to get out. Location has nothing to offer. Steep driveway. Too expensive for what’s on offer. Not going there ever again.

Friendly host, spacious apartment with king bed. The unit (19) was in need of a make over which the host explained was about to be done. It was close to a very busy road and unfortunately the only windows for ventilation faced this road. The bedroom did not have an opening window.Without air- con and only a fan it was necessary to leave this window open to cool the unit.The traffic noise was really bad until about 2am. We have stayed at a lot of different accomodation and don't usually "grizzle" however we were very disappointed with this unit and think it was overpriced for what it offered.

Good location lovely park nearby with excellent walking trails. Within 5mins drive of the Hamilton gardens free entry and plenty to see and do We have used this motel 3times previously and it has remained of a very high standard however it is close to a very busy main road so can be noisy at times

The man who handed me the key and took me to our room was friendly. The room was huge and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The outside of the Motel and the property is very run-down, even the sign is rusted and to be honest, I had a bad feeling about my booking here when we first arrived. However everything went well until I showered and the base of the shower is absolutely disgustingly dirty looking and don't look at the gunk on the shower head as I almost vomitted at the thought of water I'd just cleaned myself with coming out of it. Unsure why rooms with spa baths appeal to people? They just seem very dated and I'd say barely ever used anyway so a wasted indulgence? I'd have preferred they spend money on the appearance of the motel, the sign and cleaning the shower til it sparkled! It was cheap though, the room was fine and our stay was fine.

My boyfriend and I stay at Lake Point Motel Hamilton, NZ for 6 nights. We love our room with the hot tub jet. The location of the Motel is so convenient with the Hamilton lake park easy for walk. And it so convenient with the store and restaurants around. The stuffs so friendly and provide the excellent service when we need it. Definitely recommend..

Room was very large but dated and lacked any decor, Plates, glasses etc were all mismatched which seemed a little odd but the room was clean and comfortable. Very large bathroom and spar bath but the whole place really could use a freshen up. Not a bad place but I have stayed in better for the same amount of money.
