Pros: Quiet location except for possible stadium noise. Good parking. Restaurants and shops within reach. Nice shower and spa bath.
Cons: Decor good be updated.
Location: Sports fans ideal location.
Not easy to find coming in from Taupo direction. Right next to a sports stadium. Ideal for sports fans. Nothing on at the stadium during our stay so in was quiet.

Modern, quiet, nice, opposite the main stadium

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Everything. It's also very quiet.
Cons: Not much I don't think.
Location: Shops and Pak and Save supermarket only 100m away, stadium just next door for rugby fans.
My family and I felt at home in this motel. When we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and polite. Shops are close by. TV, Radio, Free wireless, cooking utensils. All the rooms are clean, tidy and well maintained.

Great place to stay

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: Amentities and friendliness.
Cons: The bed was a bit firmer than I was used to, but that's just personal taste. I slept fine the second night.
Location: Easy to find, close to everything we wanted. Didn't take us long to orientate ourselves.
The hotel was easy to find, welcoming, friendly and had everything we needed for a great two-day stay. Our bottom-floor unit had a car park right outside and we were across a small courtyard from a great little pool and a spa. Our own, very clean room had a spa bath and shower, with lots of nice touches such as a hair dryer, shower caps and make-up remover pads. The kitchenette had a fridge and elements to cook on and a good range of cooking utensils. I found the bed a bit firm but not uncomfortable. The room was quiet and peaceful and we had no problem having a swim/spa at the time we wanted.

Wouldnt Rave About it

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Clean
Cons: outside first impressions
On Arrival my husband checked in and said the lady at the desk was not over friendly. I arrived later, thought that if the inside of room was anything like the outside i wouldnt want to stay. Inside room was clean and tidy. Was quiet, and did the job, Would hate to be there if the park had a noise across the road. I wanted a really nice place to stay as we have a business and don't get away much. Would not be my choice again. But once again clean and tidy. Thanks

Comfortable Motel

Posted Jan 28, 2015
The motel was really comfy. There is a stadium close by, not sure how loud it gets during a game but it was nice and quiet when I stayed.

Hotel OK, but a bit out of the way.

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Location: Stadium across the street, but little else near the hotel.
Forgetable. The hotel is very plain and there is really nothing that makes it stand out.

Happy we stayed here

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Location: Go to River Kitchen cafe downtown and have breakfast.
Good beds, very clean, and nice staff. On a quiet street (at least when there's no match in the stadium across the road). About 25 minutes to walk downtown.
