Central and convenient

Two nights staying with family visiting from the UK and we wanted a decent sized motel in a city centre location. We were not disappointed

Great for an overnight stay, not longer...

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Central Location, Quiet, Breakfast!!
Cons: As above
Location: Very central to shops, cafes etc.
A little hard to find, no usuable outdoor space - very difficult for smokers, kitchen/coffee making facilities a little difficult (jug doesn't quite fit in bathroom sink), room a bit cramped for two people, Having the shower over the spa bath made it a little hard to climb into, Not a bad room - could have used a little maintenance -scuffed skirting board etc. If we'd just been staying for one night, it would have been fine, but for any longer - it felt small and restrictive. Not great value for money. Staff were brilliant and complimentary breakfast was a welcome surprise.

Centrally Located

Our initial thoughts were disappointing, the casual chairs in the room were so dirty that you would not want to sit on them. The information booklet had a take-away of some sort spilt inside it and the room smelt too. We complained to the Reception staff who promptly moved us to a different room. This one was more pleasant, to the level what we had expected. We turned on the bedside light, and that blew all the lights in the room. After a quick call to Reception out lights were back on and the bulb replaced. The hotel is quite central to town and it's attractions, there is a supermarket within walking distance. We did not get around to sampling the pool or the breakfasts. Would I stay here again, I think I would. If you are just looking for somewhere that has the basics with a spa bath, then give them a try.

Lovely central location.

Our family of 3 stayed here one night while in Hamilton for an event. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but was a great touch. Would definitely stay again when in town.

Great Location, walking distance to hospital

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was included
Cons: Hotel cleanliness
This Hotel was convenient for Hamilton, it was possibly not suitable for families as the bedroom situation was only a sofa bed. However it had a little bit of luxury with toiletries, and the staff were helpful.

Pleasant stay in Hamilton

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Location: Central and restaurants and supermarkets are a stone's throw away.
We stayed here enroute to Auckland for 2 nights. The hotel was quite central. Restaurants and supermarkets are less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy - not dated. The free breakfast was nothing to shout about but was good and filling. They have a pool but it is not worth mentioning as it is more like a large hot tub. Only it wasn't hot!
