“Sun Holiday for a couple”
On arrival we were given a cocktail before being shown to our rooms. Our room looked clean on arrival, however they didn't seem to change the sheets but just make the bed up and the standard of cleaning wasnt great. They just moped floor and made things look tidy. The toilet, bath & sink needed cleaning properly rather than just be washed round. The hotel caters mainly for German & French so if you go we would recommend knowing some German/French or going as a group since we found the language a big barrier. The meal times are a buffet style affair with a BBQ most evenings, the food had a heavy German/French influence but there were some local dishes. Since we stayed half board we had a bit more choice. The Pool was always busy but kept clean and tidy. The entertainers worked hard, however most of it was done in german/french which made participation more difficult for us. The beach is a 5min walk from the hotel, If you have young teenage girls the staff & lookie lookie men on the beach tend to take a bit too much of an interest, we saw this with some of the waiters at the hotel also. Hammamet is a nice day out and the beach there can be alot calmer since it is in the Bay, but it really depends on the wind direction. The hotel is well catered for activities with archery, tennis, water polo, scooter hire etc. Overall it was a good holiday and the hotel has some very nice touches but we felt a little isolated with the language barrier of the other guests.
