“Wonderful hotel and staff”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in February, 2005. First of all, the food was excellent!!! There was so much to eat both morning and night, we were definitely not disappointed. The staff was always friendly and helpful and assisted us many times with arranging excursions to various sights. Our room had the most beautiful view of the pool and sea. The room was quite large, clean, and had fresh flowers waiting when we arrived. The location of the hotel was nice and private, but very close to downtown Hammamet. We enjoyed walking along the beach to the downtown area (about a 15 minute stroll). I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

“Very plaisant stay”

The political situation in Tunisia is quite safe this year. But there are realy few foreign tourists and this fact is real advantage for this year: the beach is empty, as well as the restourants. But in return there are no any animation in the hotel. This year I recommentd to go to Tunisia for wellnes: SPA & beach: the prices are very comfortable and Tunisia are realy waiting for tourists.

“A clean friendly hotel easy access of main town without being in the thick of it”

This is a friendly hotel within easy walking distance of all the main Hammamet sights. The reception area is beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the buffet beakfast and dinner were superb. we would particularly recommend the Tunisian Muscat wine (it is not sweet). The liitle cafe opposite the hotel was not much to look at but ideal for a cheap lunch and very clean. This was an ideal time to visit as the hotel was not too busy. Tipping ensures good service. The hotel arranged golf tee times and free transfers to world class courses. We would also recommend the Shiatsu masage at the spa. We also arranged a ful day private tour to Carthage through the hotels English Rep Liz well worth the money. Be prepared to haggle where ever you go we got some real bargains.

“Nice helpful staff, nice spa hotel”

Hotel was ok for the price, I especially liked the thalasso spa, would recommend if you would like a hotel with a spa. The rooms were spacious and clean, bathroom ok. Very lovely staff.

“Nice Beach Great Food Hard Beds”

Stayed with family in January 2008: off season: this is a nice Hotel with great food and friendly staff: the patrons are mostly over 55 yrs old although (like us) there were some younger families. The Hotel is away from the garish Yasime Hammamet and better suited for people who want to experience some quiet down time and some Tunisian culture. We highly recommend the Camel Rides (arrange at the front desk). Quick Taxi ride to the Medina - however the local shops sell the same stuff. Also take a trip to the Municipal market. The only downside is the beds - we had 2 rooms - 1 had comfortable beds, the other had lousy hard and soft beds. We would recommend this Hotel to friends.

“Excellent Hotel BUT Building work was a pain”

The hotel is perfectly positioned amongst a cluster of other high quality hotels. You are within easy walking distance from a beautiful long sandy beach and the overall quality of the Hotel - its staff, room cleanliness, pool and spa were all very good. There were two things that let the hotel down during our stay; the constant (and very loud) building work & the lack of evening entertainment. Overall good.

“Royal Azur”

The Hotel is a nice place to stay, the look and cleanliness of the building is good but getting a bit outdated. The service, did seems bad on the first day at the restaurant but got better as the days went by probably due to the tips left to the waiter on a daily basis. Overall, a good holiday but disappointed by the way the restaurant staff seems to expect tips before giving the service.
