Great people great location

Pros: clean, neat, quiet, comfortable, staff great
Cons: Breakfast bar
Location: Location was quiet but about 40 minutes to Baton Rouge
I can not say enough about the staff at this hotel. They are excellent and I am not paid to say that! We just stayed there last week and the staff could not have been more accommodating and neither could Expedia be more accommodating. The hotel is in a quiet location, it was clean, and comfortable, the people terrific. Thank you!

Stayed one night here. Front desk people very nice. Even had free cookies. The room was spacious and clean BUT I could hear the conversations very clearly on both sides. And these people were not shouting. Hard to believe this newly constructed building has zero sound-proofing. The bathroom vanity was set so high and the faucet set so far back, I had to stand on my toes to wash my face. I am not a short person. The so-called free breakfast was poor quality unlike other La Quinta's I have stayed at. No fresh fruit, dry cereal choices were only the sugary kinds. Only powdered creamer for coffee. It does have an exercise room and small pool. If I stayed longer I would probably have used them.

The room was comfortable..small but comfortable. The cleaning staff were SCARY! They bickered right in front of guests. Their service were nice, but they were very unprofessional. The front desk attendants were very out touch. They didnt' even know the computer was broken in the business center. The breakfast staff were very pleasant.

The La Quinta Inn never disappoints. Safe location, clean and bright. You get a good quality room with all the basic needs for a good value for your money spent. Clean rooms, nice front desk associates (very helpful for restaurant suggestions) and all the basics for the continental breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are having a need to stay in the Hammond area.
