“Always Nice”

Everytime we go through Louisiana, we always make a stop at "The Villas". The staff is always friendly and accomadating. The place is off the beatin path and very private. We love to stay at The Villas!

Area recommendations

Try taking a stroll on main street in Ponchatoula. It's a small town feel!

Dining

Be sure to make a stop at Taste of Bavaria for breakfast! It's the food and the atmosphere that make this place unique! Try the baked eggs! It's in Ponchatoula on Highway 22.

“Always a pleasure!”

We have stayed at the Plantation numerous times and it is always a pleasure! We have family nearby who always ask us why we don't stay with them. It is because we are so comfortable at the villas. It is peaceful and quiet! Also, we have had Easter brunch at the villa restaurant and it was delicious! We certainly will be back!

Lots of nice restaurants nearby in downtown Ponchatoula or Hammond.

“Very Impressed. Way more than I expected”

The Villas were great, the rooms were so clean and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was the best I love the way there is a door to the sink and then another door to the shower. that saved us alot of time. We could use the sink while someone else was taking a shower. We stayed 2 nights I wish we could have stayed longer and had more time to spend at the villa. I really wanted to sit on the porch in the rocker and relax. Maybe next time.

Traveler's tip

We used our TomTom to get to the Villas which are off the road a bit. We didnt have any trouble at all finding it. We would have never found it without the GPS. But make sure if you use your GPS put in the address of the Plantation Villas not just the name if you dont it will take you to the old plantation instead. And registration is on the left not the big building on the right.
