Pros: It was fairly close to downtown Hammonsport, right off the highway. The room was large, and since we were on top floor the ceilings were vaulted.
Cons: Add some real 1/2 n 1/2 for coffee, ductless Heat/AC, and room darkening curtains.
Location: Town was very close, on Keuka Wine trail. Great place to start and end the day. Village Tavern great food, great staff. Pelicans Net best chowder 1mi
The room was a nice size, and seemed very clean. Not only were the curtains a bit too small for the window, but they were see-thru, so we had the glow of outdoor porch lights and street lights all night, and no privacy if people were walking by. There was some sort of a heater that was between wall of bathroom and living area, where you could see right thru from toilet. Maybe ok for married couple, but uncomfortable for privacy between friends. Room was very warm, and very old A/C unit in wall. "Continental Breakfast" was in office, and consisted of some apples, oranges, muffins and coffee with only powdered "whitener" available. There was a very nice sitting area out front, unfortunately, it is located on a main road and there was alot of traffic during the day. Overall it was okay, but will look elsewhere next time. Not worth the price.
