“Great experience.”

Stayed on 3rd floor room, which was fabulous - really modern, comfy and spacious. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. The pool is small but ok, the jacuzzi was fantastic. Drinks in the bar were VERY expensive - didn't have an evening meal as the menu did not appeal to us. Fantastic choice at breakfast - from cereal and fruit to cooked breakfast - with options available cooked on request - excellent service from staff. Hotel is in good location - very pretty.

“Very satisfied”

We had a wonderful mini break, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They are refurbishing the hotel during work hours and to say sorry for the inconvenience we were given a £20.00 voucher to spend in the hotel, a very nice touch. The spa area is excellent and the outdoor swimming pool lovely and warm even though the weather was not very good. We would love to visit again!!!

“Wrap up if you are going to the Balmer Lawn Hotel”

The hotel has a number of positives not least its location, quality of food and in most cases the staff were excellent. However what was supposed to be a romantic 3 day break celebrating my wife's birthday was marred by the low temperatures in the lounge / common areas, treatment room and in Beresfords Restaurant. In the case of the treatment room the therapist had to go and get a portable electric heater before she could start my wife's massage. Hotel room was very good ( 4 poster bed) but the carpet had stains on it and in one place white stains where bleach had probably been spilt. No shower cap or flannels in the bathroom although we have since beeen advised they are available from Reception. Bar staff and reception staff were excellent. Restaurant Supervisor did not take on board our comments about the cold and laughed it off by saying " when we get some wine inside us, we'll be warmer"

“Friendly Staff”

Our stay at the Balmer Lawn was very relaxing & enjoyable. The spa area is small but satisfactory. Our room was huge - the restaurant was very good. The staff were very professional & friendly. I will stay there again.
