“Beautiful room with extremely comfortable bed.”

Returning to Winchester for a wedding, this hotal was an ideal choice since is located close to the reception venue. We needed a family room, since our son was travelling with us. The room was very lovely, large with a south-facing bay window. The main bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and am told that the extra one was as well. A large tv plus wi-fi were appreciated, although we were not around for much of our time there. Several comfy armchairs were dotted around the room. The en-suite bathroom (bath plus shower) was very clean - also south-facing, with a large window, so well-lit.. The breakfast was large and delicicious, and available quite late, so we didn't have too rush down too early. Other meals were available, but not required. The location is ideal for anyone with a car - on the quiet outskirts of the city, but only a 5-10 minute away.

“Very homey, nice and comfort hotel.”

We feel very homey while we stayed there. The staffs are very gentle, good service mind and very helpful. The ABF is in good quality. The room that I stayed is very nice and comfortable. The room has plenty of heater which are very good cause the weather is very cold. We , all, conclude that whenever we will go to Winchester , we will absolutely choose the Harestock Lodge Hotel as my top first priority.

We stayed for one night at Harestock Lodge and was very impressed. It was really nice to stay somewhere where the owners manage the place and the attention to detail shows. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. We dined in and the food was exceptional and very good value. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

“Charmed!”

Sevenreen bwdroomed Independent family run hotel about 3 miles from Central Winchester. We enjoyed our stay and liked the hotel for its unpretentious and friendly atmosphere. It was not busy during our stay, which added to its charm. We prefer independent hotels. More in the genre of a large B&B than a hotel, Harestock Lodge suited us well and we would stay there again if in/near Winchester. This is not a 'top flight' hotel and makes no claim to be so. It was just 'our type' of place, but not for those with disproportionate expectations.

“Average”

All very average. Friendly welcome. Room fine but bathroom basic and chilly. I was in a basic room. The photos of the deluxe ones look better.
