“okay place to stay in Portsmouth Eng, but a bit dated”
For a Hilton, I expected a bit more of an updated room. For example the bathroom facilities were a bit dated and in need of repair...like the shower control came out in my hand while adjusting the controls. Another example is that the hot and cold water handles to the sink basin poured hot and cold water in without mixing the temperatures to warm. No air conditioning but a fan was supplied. Reception was friendly, courteous and helpful.

Staff pleasant, courteous, and professional. No A/C, but a portable electric fan stored in closet offered some hot summer day cooling relief once set up and running. Dining area slightly cramped, especially during peak use times. Breakfast buffet set up needs better organization and streamlined layout. No major faults or gripes, but no awards for extraordinary anything.
