“Excellent Customer Service”

Fantastic staff, very friendly. Had never stayed In Southampton before and reception staff gave me excellent advice about where to go at night and what taxi company to use. Efficient and friendly without being condescending. Excellent facilities including the room and swimming pool. I have never stayed in a Novotel before and if this is what the brand has to offer I definitely will again when I next go away. Excellent, massive thumbs up from me!

“Another enjoyable stay at Novotel Southampton”

We stay at this hotel each year for one night before we join a cuise. The proximity to the docks is very good. The staff here at every level are excellent from checking in, dining room staff and others. The evening meal was lovely, the vegetarian options available are good and a bit more imaginative than usually offered - even a veggie breakfast! The car park is shared and you have to pay to exit but you can do this at the hotel as well to save paying at the machine. I would definately recommend this hotel in Southampton.

“Cruise from Southampton”

Stayed overnight prior to cruise. Breakfast buffet very good [included in our room rate], location good, close to TGIF's and McDonalds plus there is a large shopping mall and Ikea store within walking distance. Computer with hi speed internet access in lobby 1 pound coin/30 minutes. Taxy to port about $10.

This hotel offered a basic clean and comfortable room. The restaurant served a good meal at a reasonable price. The service at the reception desk and the dining room was very efficient and friendly. It was walking distance to the cruise line dock.

“Close to the ship”

The hotel is close to the cruise terminal, train station and bus drop off in Southampton. The shopping centre is also very close. Good location for people catching a ship and wanting to stay a night or two in Southampton. Close to tourist attractions along the the sea front.

Havn't sayed in a Novotel previously. Was impressed by the location as I needed to visit the port, and a large shopping centre was yards away. The hotel was spotlessley clean, staff were excellent and breakfast buffet was very good. Parking was 3 pounds which was very good considering the useful location. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

“Absolutely Outstanding!!”

We used Novotel Southampton for two days prior to sailing on the Queen Mary 2 to New York. We had a very late hotel arrival as we took the ferry from La Havre, FR to Portsmouth. We requested a quiet room. The hotel was recently, and nicely renovated. A nice shopping and good restaurant center is about two blocks away. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, in all respects, and helped to facilitate our departure to the QM2. The room and room facilities were great, bed was great, hotel restaurant excellent. They did have internet in the room, but you did have to pay a small wifi fee. There was free internet in the lobby. The hotel-booked taxis to the ship were on time. We highly recommend the hotel, and would go back in an instant.
