Very good value for money

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the receptionist was very helpful.
Cons: Remove the gaffer tape from the bathroom floor.
We really only slept there but we did have breakfast. What a pleasant surprise. The sausages were moist and nicely cooked as was the bacon. All too often overnight stays are spoilt by breakfast sausages you could use as door stops.

Comfortable hotel in Andover

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable, friendly and a good price.
Cons: As identified above more garden tables and and bottled ale
Location: We were planning to walk and visit quilting shops. We managed the second but were rained off the first.
We needed GPS to find the hotel coming from an easterly direction. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. Convenient for a stroll into Andover and for the activities we had planned locally. Some bottled ales in the bar would have been good. I understand there is a plan to do just this. More tables in the garden would enhance the post dinner drinking.

slightly dated hotel but suitable for one night

Posted Jun 30, 2014
reception helpful, given a room above a function room which was very noisy, room clean and suitable for one night stay, breakfast room was not large enough to accommodate the amount of guests so had to wait, breakfast was ok but lack of food available so again had to wait, staff friendly and helpful and were doing the best they could in the circumstances

overnight stay

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: location, views
Cons: most areas: update required
Location: Up fairly steep hill approx. 1/2 mile from town centre
All areas a bit tired, could do with modernising, possibly more emphasis on maintenance

Ideal location only 15 minutes from Thruxton circuit. Hotel a bit dated but ok for a nights stay. Good breakfast included with cost would use again.

very convenient stop over on way to S West

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: Convenient location.
Location: Close to the A303!
Arrived fairly late one evening, so can't comment on hotel facilities. However, breakfast was good, staff very attentive and everything about the hotel was clean & tidy. What more could you ask for?

Good value hotel

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: Character hotel set in a quiet location
Cons: Maybe more of a variance in the bar snacks for those with not such a big appetite th
Location: The location was very peaceful as we we're route to southampton we didn't have time to explore as it was raining heavily
We were pleasantly surprised by the Quality Hotel Andover especially after reading some negative views. We stayed for one night and had a very pleasant stay and a peaceful night. The next morning we had the breakfast which was excellent, very polite staff and plentiful food should you require it. We will definitely be staying there again.

Room was well presented, comfortable and recently decorated with good quality bedding and light, clean ensuite. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet style hot breakfast was great.
