Close to the Anvil theatre, where we were going.

Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: Staff
Cons: Everything
Location: Theatre.
Not to good this time, very small room although paid top whack, bathroom was awful so small glasses etc were actually placed on top of the cistern, this cannot be right we do have strict Hygene laws in this country, shower was well crap, and we had cigarette fumes coming into our room mainly from the bathroom, It is non smoking but not nice, It was clean although very basic and tired, There was an iron and trouser press, but what I needed was a hair dryer I hunted for this with dripping hair but never found it, otherwise it was fine staff very friendly. Stayed here many times but a lot cheaper, this time we paid a lot more and got worse service for our money,

Nice hotel close to theatres

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Good central location. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Good food.
Cons: Free wifi in bedrooms.
Location: Theatres, shops very close. Various other leisure facilities a short drive away.
The Hotel was just what we needed, just a short walk to The Anvil. Had a really good meal from the Specials board in the hotel restaurant before strolling through the Top of the Town to the theatre. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Aweful Stay

Posted Feb 9, 2015 on Hotels
The room was freezing cold and the heating did not work. I went to have a shower to warm my self up, but it would only go as hot as luke warm so I did not get in it. I slept in my clothes ! Went for breakfast the next morning (which was nice and well cooked etc) but the toast only arrived after I had finished my breakfast. The wi-fi was down also. So all in all, it was an appauling stay that cost £126 and I had to use my own wi-fi source, sleep in my clothes and could not have a shower.

Back to the future

The hotel is a retro throw back from metal keys to small double beds. The staff were nice and helpful but all in all it was a far stretch from what you expect. Great location and nice breakfast but I don't think I'll be coming back

Not as good as expected.

Very noisy room. I was woken early by bin lorries and then lots of other noises ( probably residents using bathroonm facilities) prevented me from going back to sleep. The water in the shower was dangerously hot; I was unable to use the shower for fear of being scalded.

Pros: ロケーションが便利なことと、リーゾナブルな点。
Cons: 設備、食事、サービス。
比較的リーゾナブルで駅、商店街、モールにも近いので便利。ただ、部屋やサービスはそこそこ。私は選択頼んだら、間違えて女性の下着が届きました。タクシー呼んでもなかなか来ない。

Good Value Sunday Night Stay

Posted Jan 7, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed Sunday night at a very good rate. The room was comfortable and warm on arrival. Good hospitality tray. Told on arrival that the restaurant was closed and that only sandwiches were available from the bar, however there are plenty of local restaurants and pubs doing food within a two minute walk of the hotel. Top of town shopping area and has a good easy to find car park. Hotel is a little tired and worn and would not have wanted to pay a lot more than we did. Overall good value for money for a business trip.
