Welcome to the recently refurbished Westgate Inn, Winchester. The Inn has operated since 1877 when the railways extended their network from London.
All the bedrooms have recently been redecorated as has the bar and the exterior.

“Westgate Inn”
Location is excellent. They made us feel welcomes and were very friendly. Breakfast was good. Room and general decoration was in need of TLC. Despite this I would stay there again.

Good location for seeing city. Hotel is old but fairly well maintained. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

This is not a 3 star hotel. Where is the mention of it being a pub? Accommodation very tired but the owners very welcoming. Room was dark and cold on arrival. Very noisey room with single glazed windows over looking a mini roundabout on a main road through the middle of Winchester.
