Have no complaints about our stay, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and cozy. The hotel is in a decent area of London and close to all the excitement of Camden. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is nice and pleasant, the staff is helpful and smiling. the rooms could be a bit better however the filling is agreeable and goes with the nice filling of Hampstead as a small village in central London !!

Stayed a full week in early October, just the wife and I.
Easy to find, five minute walk from the Tube station.
Checked it out on google street view first so when we came off the tube it seemed as if we'd been there before and knew right where to go and exactly what to look for.
There is a flight of steps up to the office with no handicap access that I noticed.
We stayed in a smallish flat with a kitchenette, up an additional flight of stairs.
I believe there was just one more floor above us.
No lifts, but no problem with that for me.
Room was just what we needed; a place to sleep, eat, and poo.
Nothing grand by any stretch but was a good home base to return to in a nice area after trekking around London for the day.
There is a market just off the Tube stop that served all our grocery needs just nicely.
The only con I can think of would be that you have to pay for Wi-Fi at the Welby.
We just went to the "Pret" for a cuppa and to check in back home via Wi-Fi as needed, they are ubiquitous in the greater London area.
We were on a budget and this filled the bill nicely.
In case you were unaware, London is an expensive place to visit.

This is a budget hotel but we really enjoyed our 3 night stay there. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room (triple) was very large and spacious, with a large window and high ceiling, and it was very quiet overall because it's situated in a fairly quiet residential area. It's close to Swiss Cottage Underground/bus links and it's only a 5-10 min walk to Belsize Park shops and Underground, so it's good for getting about. The beds were also clean and comfortable. The breakfast is cornflakes and toast (no full English) but was fine for us.
Downsides? Well it is a budget hotel so some of the decor and furnishings and fixtures are past their best and could do with a freshen up, but this is hardly a problem if you're not too bothered about that and just want a clean, comfortable and pleasant place at a good price to use as a base for visiting London. We would recommend this place to others and would definitely consider staying again next time we come to London.

Very happy with this hotel - quick walk to Golders Green Tube and the nursing home I was visiting. Small room but had all we needed including good shower, fridge, kettle etc. Also very good to have breakfast included. I would use it again.

Set on a hill surrounded by parkland, Hampstead is the most attractive (and desirable) of London’s villages. Blue plaques on buildings attest to such diverse ex-residents as Constable, Freud, Karl Marx and John Keats. Camden Town is one of London’s best bohemian-urban places to eat, drink and shop, its colourful markets a tourist hotspot for clothes and crafts. By night Camden buzzes with dozens of live music venues, clubs, pubs, bars and restaurants.
