“I would go back.”

Knights Inn was nice, clean good service. It is just a little far from Bar Harbor. But is in a good location for restrants, with great seafood.

“priced right for a b&b type inn”

well maintained rooms and grounds / did not interact with staff a lot as we were always out. tried a fabulous "maine " lobster joint just down the street frm the inn called " ruth & wimpy's " . could not get more home cooked and friendlier than these folk !!! A local waitress at a diner told us about this place . lots of lobster for a lot less $$$$ .

“mediocre and far from Bar Harbor”

Cheapest hotel to book during columbus day weekend, but is also 19 miles from the action. Don't expect anything outstanding. Booked a 2 double bed room. Mattress was very soft. It smelled musty in the room. Decor is very outdated. The breakfast, consisting of commercial blueberry or chocolate chip muffins, coffee, tea, apple juice or orange juice leaves much to be desired. I suggest promoting some local fresh homemade foods, such as pastries from local bakeries. Staff is friendly.

“Great hotel for hikers”

Knights Inn was a friendly and well-maintained motel. It is somewhat basic in the amenities it offers and the free breakfast is very minimal but the state of the rooms and the equipment in it is rather good. If you need a cheap and good place to stay while spending most of your time in Acadia or other fun places then this is the motel for you. If you want a very nice place with great rooms and views, spa etc find some place else.
