NOT WORTH 5-STARPosted May 27, 2013
Cons: STAFF SHOULD BE SPEAKING ENGLISH.
Location: THERE ARE SEVERAL RESTAURANTS A SMALL SHOPPING MALL , SOME BANKS , CLOSE TO THE HANGZHOU METRO STATION.
IT WAS A 5STAR HOTEL BUT IT DOESNT REALLY WORTH IT. THE ROOM ,SPECIALLY THE BATHROOM WAS SO DIRTY , THERE WERE HUMAN HAIRS IN THE BATH TUB AND OVER THE SINK.ALSO IT SAID ON THE HOTEL DESCRIPTION THERE S WIFI WITHIN THE ROOMS BUT THERE S ONLY CABLE INTERNET CONNECTION, AND THERE S AN ETHERNET CABLE WITHIN THE ROOM THE CONNECTION IS NOT SO FAST. WIFI IS AVAILABLE AROUND THE LOBBY. ONLY HAD BREAKFAST IN THE HOTEL , IT WAS NOT BAD.AND I DEMANDED A NON SMOKING ROOM BUT IT WASNT.THE AREA WAS SAFE BUT FAR FROM WEST LAKE AREA BY WALK .THE METRO STATION IS 5 MIN. WALK.STAFF DOESNT SPEAK ENGLISH AT ALL,MAYBE JUST A LITTLE. OVERALL EXPECT LIKE YOU ARE VISITING A 3*STAR HOTEL AND YOU LL BE FINE.

If you are a non-smoker and anti smoking DO NOT GO HERE. There are ashtrays in the non-smoking bedrooms asking guests not to smoke in bed. Guests smoke in the lobby and hallways regardless and have no consideration for others. The western breakfast did not exist. The only western items on the menu were coffee and dry, sliced white bread.
