“Tea Boutique is a great find...”

This hotel is not the most convenient but a short taxi ride will get you where you want to go. The hotel itself is absolutely first rate. Rooms are big and comfortable, washrooms are top shelf and the staff is very helpful and friendly. A short walk away are some restaurants with both western and chinese options available...we had a good dinner listening to Bob Marley et al at the Reggae Cafe. Anyhow, certainly would send anybody to the Tea Boutique hotel without question.

“Very unique & cozy hotel”

As long as you have a car or can take a taxi without problems to move around the city, this hotel is lovely and value for money. The room is clean, cozy and well designed -- if you like something natural. Hotel service is good and they can speak English in general. Spa at the hotel is nice and the Chinese restaurant is also good. A small cafe across the street where you can enjoy coffee and music too. Breakfast was so so... that's the only negative point I recall.

“5 Star Boutique Hotel for average price - great value for money”

The rooms are as comefortable as being in your own home - if not better. Large, spacious, modern, clean - with a seating area and desk space. Excellent beds and linen. An uber spacious bathroom. Did I mention CLEAN? We were very happy with our stay there and even though its a 10 min drive to the West lake area, being in a room that was so comfortable made it worth it. Best part - the price!

“Relaxing Tea Boutique Hotel”

We were four adults and everyone was extremely please with the hotel. It was more than what we expected: very clean, great mattress and superb sheets. Very sober decor but so relaxing! The hotel is walking distance from the West Lake, an important attraction in Hangzhou. Staff is very helping and available at any time. Food in restaurant very good too with town specialty. Theft offer free expression coffee at any time but funnily, water is not available in the room. In all, we will definitely return and recommend the Tea Boutique 100%. :-)

“Great modern, minimalist boutique hotel in good location”

I had just two nights, one day in Hangzhou at the end of a business trip in Shanghai. This hotel is in a convenient location near the lake, restaurants and shopping. I loved the modern, minimalist eco design of the hotel. The King deluxe room was roomy and had a nice sitting area and big bathroom. I didn't have a view but that didn't matter to me. Staff was friendly and helpful, and most spoke good English. The Tiger Spring water was delicious and so was the tea. This is a boutique hotel that actually is very "boutique". Will definitely stay here next time in Hangzhou and I recommend the place to others.

“Relaxing hotel with excellent quality”

We stayed 2 nights at the Tea Boutique Hotel. This is a wonderful hotel, very quiet, simple and classy. The room was large, modern and very comfortable. Perfectly clean. There is wifi in the room and throughout the hotel. We had dinner there on our first night and liked it so much that we decided to have our second dinner there too. We particularly enjoyed the sweet and sour fish, an excellent dish with an original presentation. The restaurant attracts a local crowd, from what we could see. So, it does not have the « dull atmosphere » of many hotel restaurants. The bar by the lobby was very busy the first night (Halloween party for alumni of a college), but quiet the second night. Even on the busy night, the noise did not get to our room. It is possible to walk to the West lake, but it is a longish walk. If you want to save your energy for the park and the lake, you can take the local bus which stops in front of the hotel. Hotel staff will willingly explain how to get to the lake by bus (I think it’s only 3 stops away).

“Lovely”

Modern well designed hotel with tasteful decorations. Rooms and bathrooms are large/luxurious (double bath, 'rain' shower, real Hangzhou tea and spring water to make it with). Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with a very good standard of English. As the hotel is not large, it is peaceful and calm, but with a very good restaurant!

“A gem!”

For those who enjoy 'the small hotel experience' this is a gem. Thoughtful design with those 'little extras' abound, 'spring water and green tea' in the bedroom, with one feels, the tea making ceremony to match. Fresh Italian coffee and newspapers in the library which also hosts free internet; WiFi (also no charge) permeates everywhere. The evening restaurant is certainly one of the best in Hangzhou and a delight as one watches the team of chefs prepare behind ceiling to floor glass partitions. There are walks in the park opposite the hotel through which one can walk through the bamboo forests to the temple on the hilltop with caves and historic formal gardens on the way. The hotel is (currently) let down by the mediocre breakfast which is served too early for those explorers and holiday makers who may have difficulty in getting to the breakfast room before 9 AM

“Original, sleek hotel with great service”

Really great hotel with outstanding service. The hotel has large rooms with a Japanese design. It is unusual in a very pleasant way. It keeps surprising you with all those little things that make your stay memorable.

“Good Find!”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it is very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The big windows in our room were fantastic. My only advise is that it is really hard to find a taxi in Hangzhou, if you can bring your car or prearrange for someone to drive you it makes it easier.
