Downtown Location ,

Posted Aug 11, 2013
Pros: Size of the room, good for working
Cons: Need to be updated in decoration, provide air conditioning in most Hotel public areas , arrange nice seating area in lobby.
Location: N/A
3.5 stars is OK for this Hotel, No air conditioning in Hotel areas as halls, lobby, elevators, etc., considering 38 degrees celsius outside. Lobby had seating for 6 to 8 persons only. Location is complicated if you need to visit Companies that are outside downtown, due to permanent traffic jam .

This is indeed a Five Star Hotel!

Posted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very pleased with everything in this hotel during my five-day stay. The quality of the facilities and the service is excellent. I didn't see or experience any of the issues that people have complained about in their reviews. The hotel is a truly five-star hotel. The check-in and check-out are fast and the staff are very professional and friendly. They checked me out in less than 10 minutes at 4:00 AM and had a taxi already ready for me. I definitely recommend this hotel highly and will stay there again next time I am in Hangzhou.

GREAT FIND!!

Posted Jul 22, 2013
This was a great hotel with everything at your fingertips. I have stayed in about 40 different hotels in China and this was by far one of the best!!! Luxury and quality from the room to the restaurants contained within... The only improvement that could be made for an "international" hotel is to have the front desk employees speak/understand English better. Luckily I know enough Chinese to get by, but it may be challenging for someone who does not speak any Chinese. However, the staff was very eager to please and figure out my needs. Great Hotel!!!!

Didn't match the star rating.

Posted Apr 8, 2013
This hotel is obviously overrated as a 5 star hotel, maximum rated as 3 and half star for my personal view. The lobby and rooms are outdated, however, the cleanliness is OK. The skyway is just next to the hotel, loud noise is not able to be avoided, especially during night time. The front desk service is average as a three star hotel should be. Won't recommend to tourists to stay.

Update your bathrooms!

Posted Nov 27, 2012
Location: great location, just minutes from all the best shopping, silk market, and west lake
The rooms really need to be updated, the carpet is old, and the bathroom fixtures all leak. Also, instead of providing shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and lotion, they only provided a shampoo/body wash combo that was mounted to the wall. How am I supposed to wash my kids hair with that? The staff was excellent, friendly, and accommodating.

Enjoyed stay at Zhejiang International Hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2011 on Hotels.com
I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Arriving late at past midnight, the hotel was dim and only had 1 staff mending the counter. The procedures for check in was slow as the staff had to copy all the information for every guest (I booked 2 rooms for 4 adults). They could have photocopied the passport and do the paperwork after the guests leave the counter. Hotel room is very new and well maintained. I ordered room service and the food arrived after about 30 minutes. The food was ok. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room though and only a tap that provides drinking water. The breakfast spread (not included in the hotel rate) is somewhat limited and not the best. The staff at the concierge were extremely helpful though, giving tips and guide on where to visit and what to see and which route to take for first time Hangzhou visitors like me, who didn't do much research before hand. Location wise, it is located in downtown but away from Xihu, the main tourist attraction. It is walking distance from the shopping malls (the bigger dept store being YingTai).
